Fun fact: Today is the Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party of 1773 when the American Colonists dumped British Tea into the harbor as an act of protest. See the link for more info: http://patriotpost.us/articles/31763

I'm looking forward to my Christmas Break! Looks like I'll be spending pretty much the entire break with the family back home, which is awesome. It does probably mean no MechWarrior, but I'll be back in January.

If you don't want it, then I'll take it. I always seem short on those.
How? I feel like the only thing I ever have in my inventory is medium lasers. Probably because I'm always selling everything else because I'm so poor.

I typically build my Mechs around a massive ballistic (like the AC/20), or SRM and light ballistic boating. MLs are nice because they're light and are easy to stick onto my Mech afterwards for extra backup firepower. As a result, I tend to have a lot of them. After I've run new Mechs and figured out better (or more fun) builds, I tend to strip and rebuild them, often converting to pulse lasers. That puts a lot of MLs back into my inventory. Then, I go and buy new Mechs and stick them all over the new Mechs.
This creates a cycle of surplus/shortfall for me. Suffice to say, I stopped selling weapon systems long ago. It's cheaper to keep them in my inventory than it is to sell them and then buy them back later. Right now, I am in a cycle of shortfall since I am re-kitting everything to match the new quirk system. I am particularly short on MLs and MPLs at this time; a true first.
The only weapon systems I sell are UACs and CUACs. I sell those with gusto; they are the worst weapons in the game, I think, and do not deserve to be on my Mechs or even be in my inventory. I have no tolerance for dice-roll weapons in this game, and detest being betrayed by weapons that choose to jam at the most inopportune of times. As a result, whenever I come into possession of a UAC or CUAC, I immediately replace it with its normal or LBX variant (if I want that ballistic to stay on the Mech) and sell of the reprobate that dares to ride on my proud Mechs.
