***Moderators this is a balance issue, the biggest balance issue IMO and belongs here, please do not move thank you.***
I am a casual solo player for this game and one of the biggest issues I have seen from my type of player/customer base and even the Pre made/Sync drop's is the "Stomp".
It does not really matter what causes it, for a new or Solo/Casual player it is not fun and if a game is not fun you don't play it. Its very simple to understand how that will impact the game for everyone and what matters is how to prevent it.
The two biggest factors in the "Stomp" to me are no re spawns and sides with very different skill levels.
The lack of re spawns creates a Domino effect and that creates a stomp.
What I mean is if one side groups up and focus fires on one Mech at a time, it creates this domino effect. Once a team has a 2-4 Mech advantage the outcome is almost always a Stomp like knocking over Domino's.
There is a reason why almost every other AAA online shooter has re spawns, PGI?
The lack of a new or solo etc. player queue is another big factor in a Stomp.
If you get one team with a Pre made and Sync drops all with an advantage in communication and skill you will also mostly get a Stomp. This is not fun for new players and not a challenge for Pre Made/Sync Drops, its bad for both IMO.
There is also a reason why almost every other AAA online shooter has a good Lobby (queue) options, PGI?
I would think it would be in he best interest of this company to give the two player bases options.
One queue with at least one re spawn and only new, solo or low elo, casual ec. players (No Sync drops).
And.
Another queue for team based players with the proper tools for them to have clan vs clan or house tourneys etc. A proper team based queue with a lobby and they can choose not to have 3pV or re spawns to cater to the level of competition they want.
The other factor is balance but I don't think that true balance will ever be in this game so I would focus more on the two very distinct payer/customer bases.
So why would this be wrong or too difficult for PGI?
Solo Queue With Re Spawns, For Ballance?

MechWarrior never has been, and never will be, a AAA shooter. It's a niche game. Spaceship combat and regular soldiery combat (or even big hulking super-soldiery combat) will always have more fans than big stompy robots will.
There will eventually be a game mode where you take four 'Mechs of the same weight class with you. You drop in 'Mech 1, get wrecked, drop in 'Mech 2, get wrecked, drop in 'Mech 3, get wrecked, and drop in 'Mech 4, and get wrecked -- all in the same match. In those matches, there may be extended objectives.
They may even do it where you have four 'Mechs that have to last over several matches. For example, if you get wrecked twice in the first match, you only have two 'Mechs left for the second and third matches in the series. Or if one player gets wrecked all four times in the first match, your team drops one short for the second and third matches.
The four-'Mech mode would require totally different tactics and strategies than the normal mode. We will likely have teams that specialize in that mode only.
By the way ... what makes you think respawns would ever stop stomps from happening? Remember, the stompers you wreck will respawn too, and the reasons they were stomping you in the first place won't go away.
I agree with you, that there should be separate queues -- a newbie queue for the first 25 matches, a regular queue for solo droppers and 2- to 4-mans, and a 12-man queue.

Everything you keep asking for in different post says you need to be asking for a single player mode.

The best thing ever for this game (to me) would be a mechwarrior living legends style game mode with respawns and cash progression to higher cost mechs.
And the OP is absolutely right about his point in no-respawning being a primary factor in stomps. Adding a separate-queued respawning mode doesn't take anything away from your tactical squad combat mode, it just opens the game to a more varied fan-base. This will in turn make the game survive longer. Literally no one loses in this scenario, so why even whine and ***** against having it included?
You know what else respawning does? Create a reason to go for the f'ing objectives, since so many people seem to whine about role warfare! Guess what role will always be most valuable when 90% of matches are decided by deathmatch since there are no-respawns? The biggest stompy robot with the most armor and weapons of course!
Hell the no-respawning is the root of a lot of the hate in this community as getting ganked by a meta/easy mode mech pisses you off even more if it makes you have to sit out the rest of the match and each person ganked increases their team's odds of killing everyone before they can put a decent fight (thus causing a domino effect of annoyance/anger). It polarizes the community to hate the "enemy" and seemingly/actually unbalanced builds/mechs/weapons even more when death matters more (the cost here being less time playing and a signifcantly lowered chance of victory for every death on the team).
These forums are populated by hate and vitriol above all else of course, so don't expect a warm reception. Especially to any idea that isn't pro-group play and/or helps less-skilled players enjoy the game. To some the "bads" sole purpose is simply a target used to inflate their ego and their opinions and value as a human beings are lesser to the "elite" players.

Wasn't this available in MW3 or 4 when we used to join up game lobbys in the old MS Gaming zone?
