I really hate comments like that:
1. They are not going to allow a player run "Otomo" unit.
2. Guarding the Coordinator/Luthien would be a rather dull job.
3. If we were the Otomo, we wouldn't be recruiting on a forum.
4. If a unit that has been together for 17 years is not good enough for you, because "skill" for you is defined by a name, and not by actual experience, then you need not apply.

Besides, we'd rather be on the front line, bringing the wrath of the Dragon down on our enemies with missiles, lasers, and cannon than sitting around guarding Luthien, its just more fun.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but even if they don't implement a non-canon player regiment system for the Houses, you can still keep your own command structure within your unit right? If you are together on comms it should be fine. What is required for that to work is some sort of party system so that you can ensure that you are able to play together, and maybe an in-game tags system if you guys wear tags with your names that adds the tags to the player account names. If they have that much then you can probably remain as House players, but still fucntion as a unit.

As of yet we don't know the House players system, so we're staying Merc while only doing Kurita missions to keep our organization. The higher ups will decide what we do when the Community Warfare patches go through in a couple of months.
