A few more ECM variants like the Griffin 2N, wouldn't hurt either...

edit: nevermind
Soooo no SRM fixes listed in those notes. No reason to play.
Morrowind and Dark Souls for another two weeks! Oh, and some Super Street Fighter IV Arcade edition... online, of course.
You have the Overhaul v3.0 mod installed?

Still waiting on the Urbie, Hatchetman, Zeus, and King Crab.

I dream of an MWO release where PGI reworks ECM's fundamental mechanics.
I dream of an MWO release where ECM and all the electronic warfare items provide soft bonuses and penalties rather than hard counters.
I dream of an MWO release where this allows PGI to add many new variants with ECM hardpoints, since it is not longer broken and mandatory for every mech capable of taking it.

Although nice and thoughtful, you're gonna have to take the red pill.

It would be the only "gamechanger" moment for the Awesome... maybe.
Now, here's a thought... if they only "fixed" the "basic variants" bug where if you mastered/elited out mechs, sold them, and then bought an unmastered variant (like, you mastered the HBK-4P, 4SP, and 4J - sold them, and then bought the 4H), you can't "get out of basic" (even if you had the XP) until you buy back two of the elited/mastered variants (4P, 4SP, and 4J in this ciase).
That would be something PGI would need to fix ASAP.

Basically, think the 1N with a arm upped to 6 slots + ECM. Yeah. It still wouldn't be OP and it would be a hell of a lot of fun.

- MASK enabled 'Mechs: CTF-3L, WVR-7D, WVR-7M and no Flea? not likely - lowest probability
- Grand Dragons family: DRG-1G, DRG-1GKDC, DRG-5K - we need ECM heavy + Dragon needs weapons visuals
- The year 3050 "latest" (too many variants to list) - it's PGI after all, random illogical option - highest probability
Problem here is this...

^ Dragon

is a Dragon.
But this...

is a Grand Dragon.
Since PGI isn't likely to change that... I doubt we'll see a Grand Dragon, unless they're willing to change the Dragon.

well at least don't make it the best varaint of the chassis
such as the Spider/Raven 3l
ECM shouldn't justify/improve the viability of a neglected chassis such as awesome or dragon

Though mechs with only 3 varaints should be top priority for new variants
- Raven
Locust- Centurion
- Quickdraw
- Griffin
- Wolverine
- Spider
- Kintaro
Thunder bolt- Jaggermech
ShadowhawkBattlemaster- Banshee
- Jenner
more locusts!

8 energy battlemaster!
stop making the awesome 8Q obsolete

6 energy 2 missile battlemaster
6 energy locust! - 20 tonns though :L
2 missile 2 energy locust hmm
3 missile 3 energy 1 ballistic shadowhawk
3 Energy 3 missile shadowhawk?!?
2 ballistic - 1 missile - 6 energy thunderbolt

Both dragons have lower arm attenuators according to TRO. the first art for dragons and the one known for the dragon was a misrepresentaion. Its the reason they originally had a concept art with the straight arm and then changed it to the correct one based on TRO

I think it was to overlook the need to put in a clause for non-lower-arm mechs with functioning lower arms.
After all, that same TRO says it doesn't have a hand actuator -- take a look at it again.
Thus either way the same number of slots are free -- there.
Various build sheets say it has the hand actuator (left arm) but not the lower arm actuator (right arm).
Both have identical free slots.
It's also the only visual difference between the two and would add both character and a whole new use for Dragons.
Also the original Dragons in MWO even with the bicep... didn't have a lower arm actuator. I'm pretty sure they used stat sheets before they made it.

Like to keep the old, or sell and buy new, or just keep them all and buy 2 more locusts!? (though that's 2 more mech bays!)
Ah decisions...

EDIT: I would try a Dragon with ECM despite its being a Dragon.
