Devs, please bring in Guided AC's. Use the same system as for the LRM's because LRM's are honestly awesome.

Give them a 180m minimum and 1000m max and allow them to be affected by TAG and NARC. Guided weapons are the way of the future. Aim is for cavemen!

Guided AC's will surely put this game in the top tier for skillful gaming!

Well, I guess it'd help with your "Hit reg and ping make hitting scouts impossible" problem.

That said, considering the disadvantages of a spread out, unfocused damage blob that represents LRM's, giving AC's the same kind of indirect fire might be a little over the top right?

Oh wait...Artillery from Tanks...I see what you did there, other gaming company.

Aim is OP. Guided AC's are the best way to go. I'm not trolling I'm just trying to add some balance to an already perfected skillful game ie. 1000m lock ons and spam. Give them damage spread and there you have it! Skill at its finest. I'm sure players like you would relish the opportunity to use them and tout your damage ratings, as you should and have every right to ;)

In that case the obvious solution is to give the 'guided' function to machine-guns and AC2's first...then we can compare them to SRM's and chain-fired LRM's.

That actually sounds fairly plausible coming from PGI's balancing bag.

So, your last thread about MW:O turning into Camp Warrior Online bombed. Hardly anyone supported you and the thread careened off course when the only defense you had left was offensive personal attacks against.... well, everyone.

We get it. Rex Budman only likes to be killed when an opponent is facing off against him in plan view. You can't handle a weapon system that warns you that you are about to be hit. You are demoralized when two players work together against you.

We get it Rex. You can't play this game. We appreciate you coming to the forums often to remind us of your inability to adapt to change. We appreciate your attempts at trolling for the amusement factor.

And we all look forward to destroying your mech in game... that is if you can get the courage to pilot a mech again even though you know you'll just get killed by the 12 yr old who just downloaded the game 10 minutes ago.

Lol @ lowest common denominator. You're the one wanting to improve lock on weapons while turning a majority of maps into no mans land while lock ons are spammed and used as brawling weapons with Mediums equipped with LRM+TAG+JJ... Yet you complain about poptarts with pinpoints?
