Dat feeling, when you already bought all Heroes except GI and Jester at full price (~_~;)
And this is not fair to drop the price up tp 50%.
At least, we've got mechbays discount.

IMHO this pricing is more fair for the Hero mechs, but paying for mechbays is excessive to begin with. I'll use what little MC I have left to get a mech bay but I refuse to spend another cent until the fee for mech bays is either removed or a c-bill option is introduced at minimum.

I'd also like to see better promos on standard and camo paints, but first things first. I'll continue to bang the drum about bonus discounts/incentives for users who spend a minimum amount on the game. I'd drop at least another $30 on this sale if it meant I never had to buy another mech bay or doing so unlocked a c-bill alternative.

Thanks PGI, I didn't think we would see the 50% off return so fast! With the way it way stuck on with the UI 2.0 it didn't get much promotion (although that is when I got some of my hero's ).

I think you will get much better response then the last time. I do agree with others that all Hero Mech's should be coming with a 'built-in' Mech bay by now.

Now, on to which one's to get this time round...

Bought 3 mechbays to start, and probably going to get the YLW to keep my free Centurion (C) some company. Not sure how many more Mechbay I should probably buy.

Take a look at all the mechs available and incoming.... then think about how many you are going to want to play - count out the variants you need/want/whatever.... then buy several more mechbays than you need.

Edit: I did that back when there were only ~4 different chassis that interested me - then the number started growing.
Wound up selling some of my precious Commandos for extra mechbays - and I miss them frequently.
(yes I qualify as a raving lunatic sometimes - so take my advice with a grain of salt)

Can I clarify pls one simple question.

Mechbays are 'mechbays for mechs of all types' and not or will never be 'InnerSphere Mechbays' vs. 'Clan tech Mechbays'?

I would think that a mechbay is a mechbay, it should be for all types. PGI/IGP devs may be stupid but they are not evil.

Oh and uh don't blame me if the mechbays turn out to be in different dropships or something...

Well it's a bit of a kick in the teeth that I just bought the BH last week, but to be honest I think it's the one hero that is really worth the price! I'm really looking forward to buying the Fang on Monday! It's the one mech I've always wanted to try but been dubious of paying the full price for a dragon with it being one of the weaker chassis! Also very tempted by the jester hmmm

And for those being depressed about buying full price just before the sale, about a week or 2 ago i bought the Stalker (c) full price about 2 hours before it went on sale. Contacted support and they refunded the difference (what I paid vs the sale price) no problem in under an hour. They did mention however that you only get one freebie refund like that and next time be sure of your purchase.

I don't know how id feel asking for a partial refund! I bought the BH knowing the price and I'm very happy with it! And in a way I'm happy that I'm supporting a game I love so much! The thing with F2P games is they need these kind of cash injections to survive. And I know people whine about money grab and all that but I 100% believe they are wrong, PGI is a buisiness and they have supplied something that i believe is a work of art. I have no problems supporting this game with every penny I can spare.
