honestly you wouldn't be upset if you got the BH, drop the XL 400 for a std 340 and a few other tweeks and you'll love it!

I would like to buy the 50% Boars Head
but Borad Head was for the 1st day
and the sale-announcement has had absolutely no forecast lead time

normally I'm daily online, this time, I made a break for 1,5 days, and because these PGI guys didnt announce the offer earlier, I didnt know about it yesterday when I was online for the last time, and now its already to late for my Boars offer

maybe because the popular mech dont need a sale to sell? they are good and ppl still buy them at full price so why should they put them on sale.
plus they already put the firebrand on sale twice recently, all mech will go on sale just need to wait for the right time

I think about getting the Jester. But I am a bit worried, because I almost never see it on battlefield. Don´t people use it because it is bad?

As laser weapons cannot really compete with baiilstics in the current meta you will probably notice a significant decrease in damge per match (except you use PPCs, maybe). I really like my Jester but I do roughly 20-25% less damage per match compared to the K2. If energy weapons (especially lasers) would get some love by PGI, the Jester could be a great mech. The reduced torso twist angle also takes away a little of the specialness you normally feel in Catapults. Sad, but I still like my Jester as I'm a laser fan.
So if you don't mind running very hot and like energy weapons give it a go. But running a Firebrand or Ilya is the easier way to max your damage per game in a heavy mech.

I bought the Heavy Metal and the Grid Iron and 2 Mechbays (down to 80 MC now). Have two useles Gauss Canons in my Mech Garage now, but not selling them (who knows, PGI might change them to decent weapons one day).

I'm not very good with the Heavy Metal yet, but having loads of fun with the Grid Iron.
