I agree with a lot of the posts here, if you dropped it down to $250 and maybe lowered the duration of the premium account then I would be on it in a heartbeat.

I voted no, not worth the price. However, I would in a heart beat, pay for another package like the legendary that included 4 clan "founders" mechs. Even the less popular builds like the Kitfox, Dragonfly, and Gargoyle.

Though I would prefer: Adder, Stormcrow, Mad Dog or Timberwolf, Warhawk.

I'm not sure how much the premium account will be going for but I'd think that $500 would be a couple of years worth. I'd more than likely be a buyer at $250...$500 my wife would probably seek an attorney's advice.

Meh, why not? It's just an extra couple bucks. Just as long as I get the Mad Cat but don't have to join a clan

At $500, that just wouldn't be worth it. It's not the amount of money that is the issue, it's the cost/benefit ratio in my mind. The $120 was already stretching that as a one time investment that I ultimately made based on my pure love of Battletech. $500, just too much I could do away from gaming, like take my wife for a night out on the town or buy her a new lense for her camera, or add $250 to it and buy a whole computer. Part of me wants to say I'd pull the trigger just because I can't stand to not throw money at this game because it is a dream come true, but then the practical side comes in and says that is just too much for a game......now, that being said, someone else pointed out....in the $250 range...well now we have a discussion, but then only because I'd take a Star League emblem for the forums, I hate the clans on general principal and my Tabletop group plays 3039 and earlier just to avoid them.

I assume the mad cat introduction is a simple troll addition.

Everything else seems fine except they may not be able to handle the extra load of beta testers at the moment, so why let in more people who simply fork out cash so they can complain about how laggy and unplayable it is. They forked out cash and are playing a buggy product...oh wait..it's closed beta. DERP!

Seriously though. People would complain.
