[Jin Ma]

I load up into a game on alpine, and someone makes the call to defend base. So we wait at base. 3 minutes in and nothing happens. Then i take a peak over a tiny hill to the right of our base.

Just under 2 lances of atlases staring me in the face. All of them under ECM cover. Stomping towards me.. nearly shat my pants.

Luckily atlases were not designed to be open field grazers. The herd was mowed down by several vollies of LRMs.

Gotta say, pulling a win out of that is impressive. Most teams would just crumble and fail at focus-fire.

lol luckily they were majority ECM SRM brawlers. We had about 3-4 LRM boats with TAG. Plus they were under fire from our turrets.

Defending base was the best call ever. would have never won the game otherwise.

As the OP stated, he spotted them moving through open terrain and the LRMs took out accordingly. As they should. But If the enemy team had not of done that and instead stick to cover, the outcome could have (and very possibly would have) ended very differently.

I can't help but cringe when I see an Atlas only do double-digit damage. A whole lance of Atlas mechs, though...? Oof.

ALPHA Lance was my group, but we had nice communication with Bravo Lance when we saw our potential.

Charlie lance splited from us and 2 of them was begginers (so LRM's over 1000 meters was pretty unefficient ^^ )

ooh I guess we just got lucky and were paired against 2 4 man drops both of which dropped in 3-4 atlases. Yeah i didn't see muc of charlie lance

I see their problem right there. None of those Atlas pilots were Steiner.
