I haven't played much recently, though I've played a lot before some of the recent updates, especially the one with the new UI.

I'm really confused about something: is it possible to somehow see which of my previously-owned mechs still have experience left on them, and/or still have locked skills? I've been looking at the list, and so far, I can't tell any difference between mechs I know I fully maxed out, and those I know I've never even owned. I remember before the UI update, I could browse individual mechs within individual chassis types, and see how much experience each one had, and which skills were locked/unlocked. but now, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Am I overlooking something, or is this a new "feature?"

PS: I'm not asking to be able to unlock skills on mechs I don't own; I know that that was never intended behavior to begin with. I simply want to see the experience/skill stats of mechs I don't currently own.

No, you cannot currently see the XP/skills on 'Mechs you do not own. They may change it in the future.

About the only thing you can do is see how many variants you have unlocked, even then you have to look at the small print in one box. The new UI is VERY limited.

You know, you could just simply go look at your mech stats. They have the XP accumulated on them.

Go to your profile-----> Stats-----> Mech stats----> filter-----> archived

it's about 21k xp for each tier.

The UI does not have this information, thenew UI i missing a lot of smaller features like that, which I guess is because they had to get it out before it was 100% complete since it was bottlenecking everything else (such as the new launch/lobby system)

you can go to your mech stats in the website database which will show you how much XP was earned per mech, which while it does not tell you exactly which skills are purchased it does give a good idea of which mechs you previously owned and roughly how complete they might be
