Got sometimes a very strange issue, piloting my FS9-A and S : in the heat of battle, trying to get an escape route, my mech sometimes got stuck in an acceleration state, but with a max speed of about 25-30% of its maximum, without apparent reason.

The effect last about 3-5 seconds, leaving me in a very vulnerable state, and I think to have to leave the acceleration key before pushing it again to unstuck me.

My leg didn't got destroyed, but it seems to happens after being hit by AC or PPC shot, I'm not sure about that...

The landscape doesn't seems to slow me, one time however a fallen mech seemed to slow me like this, the time my mech pass through the scrape (instead of climbing it).

Maybe a collision problem with little landscape detail or dead bodies, but that's very odd, considering light mech being able to climb the mostl titled of cliffs...

I'll continue to investigate, but this seems to be very random. Happens about 1 time in 10-15 games...

Update :

Noticed to lose speed after landing with jumpjets, but instead of the normal recovery time (less than a second), my mech (FS9-H this time) had been slowed down for about 4-5 seconds, gathering ennemy fire and attempting to flee away...

The legs rotated, but with a fraction of the max speed, leaving me very vulnerable for no reason at all.

This happened once in Canyon Network, apparently when I landed on a non perfectly plane ground ; I suspect a strange "slippage" bug, where your mech had to recover from its landing on a flat surface, and occasionnaly doing so at an extreme slow pace...

Maybe it's happening like this :
- Landing on a non-flat surface
- Trying to recover, slipping to the nearby flat ground
- During that, mech not being able to move normally, because in "recovery process"
- Speed unlocked when on the flat ground

Anyone getting this issue, with light mech or another ?

Yeah, it's likely happening because you are landing on a rock or other obstruction that would normally slow you down or stop you if you were walking/running. It's triggering the "stuck" behavior, which is like being caught in a tar pit.

This has happened to me as well.
