Hi,

I'm the legendary Redstar - self-declared Master of the Universe - and already posted a complaint-list here a few month ago that first changed the sub-forum lead by a ghosts hand and later obviously..."vanished" completely or is still hidden somewhere in a dark corner here. Pf! 8-)

I already got some problems with pathetic denunciators and bans (and that would raise my anger above the sky when...no, IF I return with a new account and have to achieve all the shit again) and noticed that I always again get so angry about two situations in the battles: First about silly small Mechs - I call them farts on legs - that fly around the heavier Mechs and try to **** them like a callboy. ;-D Second about pathetic chicken-warriors that know no other "tactic" but: "Stick together, hold hands and **** them". And so about 75% of all battles look generally similar: Either two groups meet in the center of the battlefield and **** it out or they pass each other and **** a base/return to the center or they **** warriors with more guts that try to act REALLY tactical and left the main-group alone or as a lance for advanced operations. And that pisses me so off; this has nothing to do with real tactical combat like the game could be. And this makes me angry; I just MUST share that feelings sometimes. 8-) This is out of control. Especially if some pathetic cowards hiding behind the Internet provoke me additionally and intentionally.

But I noticed that the less open the map is, the more seldom that pathetic group vs. group chicken-battles are.
So we need more maps that we cant overview so easy. We need more buildings, mountains, woods, passages and so on.

What we also need is to patch small farts down to realism. This problem is still not solved and terrible. I even remember a battle were ONE Jenner fought ELEVEN Mechs about a minute and still managed to escape! Such shit just cant be! That's unrealistic! It's OK that small Mechs are hard to hit but IF they get hit they should explode after one to three alpha-strikes. They are unnaturally strong in MWO and that's just nerve-wrecking and unbalanced.
Also the groups sometimes seem a little bit unbalanced by the way. We often have clearly dominating groups and fatally unequalized endings. That's either just boring or totally nerve-wrecking.

Then we need a little bit faster flying ballistic weapons. Sometimes I got the feeling that the AC's fly slower than a grandpa rolls with his roll-chair and this also cant be. This is silly like in Battlefield 3. 8-D AC's are long-range-weapons refering to the lasers (what is a little bit strange in realism, right? ;-D) but it's almost impossible to hit a moving target that's far away.

And now the most important suggestion to suppress **** a little bit more: We should have a Duel-Mode here, where it's Mech vs. Mech of the same class (or mixed but I think it's better in the same class). For example Cataphract vs. Cataphract or Cataphract vs. Catapult. Stalker vs. Atlas, Spider-Fart vs. Jenner-Fart. And so on. That would be great. Just warrior against warrior, Mech vs. Mech, tactical skill vs. tactical skill (...or unskill) - and no rapists and milk-drinking stick-chicken that disturb that duel. ;-D

So, PGI just wake up and make this game more balanced, man. Or I get REALLY pissed off. 8-)

Redstar over, man - veteran of MW4

PS: And sometimes I still got the feeling that some cheat-scum is showing it's pathetic mind here... :-P

Next patch you'll get private matches... so if you can find someone else who wants to duel ya, you can.

As for lights, learn to take em out cause they ain't going anywhere. In order to get a publisher, PGI had to design the game so that all weight classes are viable. No publisher was going to touch the old model of bigger is always better.

When MW:O went live, what lights were able to do was a little ridiculous cause of the lag shield they'd carry, but that has been cut down drastically by HSR changes PGI has done. Now a days, good pilots can hit lights with pin point damage consistently.

Half of that post was, "Ermagherd I hate lights I can't shoot lights in my assault wif mah peepeecees!". I didn't even bother reading the other half.

Yeah, I've nailed Lights on the run with AC20s, etc: it's something strange and cheat-worthy called "aiming." Yes, as a part-time Light pilot, you can certainly wreak havoc on a cluster of new players, or even a cluster of experienced players who are just pugging with strangers. Part of the fun is getting them to shoot each other, panic and spin in place while your own Assaults waddle up and start firing, and then peel out of there smoking but alive.

Likewise, there are few things more satisfying than watching a Spider flit through the air, taking off one of its legs, and then watching it land and realize it's 150kph escape speed is now 40kph.

Game's not perfect, they need a lot more maps, but the balance is starting to get there, and the 3/3/3/3 patch, while it'll annoy some, will help a bit more with the balance.

Nah... the record is somewhere between 15 and 30 seconds after the creation of a non-moderator or community manager thread. I know, because I'm the one who did it. :D

This thread had a lifetime of half an hour. It's still on the faster side, but nothing that doesn't happen daily.

Redstar, you're STILL a ******* idiot. How long before you learn how to communicate in the gen pop section as a mature individual capable of expressing your views without resorting to childish shit?

This is just another example of Ehr Meh Gerd! I can't kill something so it needs to be nerfed! I just got shot by (insert latest bandwagon here) and it needs to be nerfed also! Nerf Red buff blue!
