Hi Everyone,
Mr Bear here. The 13th Legion, Forgotten 8th Legion and the 256th Bear Cav will be running a 12 man drop on the 27th of June (This Friday)
Kick off is from 2200 hours GMT +8.

Format for the 12 man is:
3 Mechs of each weight class
3 ECM per team
3 Arty/Air Strike per Team

Smaller units/players who are keen on joining us, do drop by the Comstar TS Server and head to the 13th Legion Channel where we will be co-ordinating the drop.

If you already have a premade group of 4, than just show up and join the fun. I would encourage you to show up with 1 of each weight class, 1 ECM and 1 Arty/Airstrike, this will make the building of the 12 man's go a lot faster.

As always I will be usually on the Comstar TS from GMT+8 2100 hours till about 2300-0000 hours. Hunt me down there if you want to find out more.

To the larger units out there, if you have your own TS but want to join in the fun just send a rep down to the Server on Friday so we can co-ordinate the drops.

we have our annual ANZAC drop tourney on that night, but I'll let our guys know and see if we can get a 12 on after!

Thanks for the replies guys. Really appreciate it.
Drop commanders can head down to the 13th Legion's channel on Comstar TS to arrange the Sync.
Try to stick to the arranged format.. I still have nightmares from being stomped by 8 Atlas's and 4 Ravens...

I would have, but than I realized the original thread had last week's date and since I can't figure out a way to change the subject title.... new thread created. Something I think I'll need to figure out moving forward...

Total of 8 matches played but I forgot to record one of the games on Terra Therma.

Pardon having to listen to only my voice, I pipe comms into my headphones which is a different source from game sound.

Friday's games were fun. We had mixed players from the 13th Legion, 256th Bear Cav, Forgotten 8th Legion as well as the 228th. I'd like to thank everyone who played.

We will be running again on the 3rd of May hopefully with ARMD and some of the other Australiasian units as well. Unit commanders, if you can/want to take part please do drop by so we can co-ordinate. Making my life easier would be if you came with a pre-built lance.

You can check out out videos but from what I hear we're not running conventional, competitive Meta builds...(from what I hear) We're here to have fun.

Thanks for the games! They were amazing! Also cheers for letting me have a go at drop commanding, that was a first for me and I probably spoke too much but that goes with learning. Btw, what program/settings did you use to record? My twitch recordings came out terrible.

I don't stream so I use OBS NVENC encoding at 8000kbps which is still a little blocky at times. IIRC, Rawr usess Shadowplay at 30000kbps. I think you can get away with 3500kbps if you're using x264 encoding at the expense of CPU performance which will slow down your MWO

I'd like to thank the 13th Legion, 228th, 256th and ARMD for taking part in tonight's drop.
Shout out of thanks to all the random players who got yanked in by a bear and being happy/willing to take part and build some character (another word for losing/winning).

I hope everyone had fun in tonight's drop and it was nice to have 3-4 12 man groups going.
Unit leaders, if you all are keen to join in the fun, please do drop me a PM. We should be doing more drops next week at the same time and at the same place.
