Is it still a useless thing to be removed?
Wish I'd known that I went endo steel to be able to get the weight down for my build and could have just removed it and kept the slots and not pissed away a million C Bills lol...

And mount a Guardian ECM, [redacted]. It's what makes the thing valuable.

Selling the (useless) CC gives you the CB for the (essential) ECM.

Depending on your build, the ES may not be a waste. I have it on my DDC, using a typical SRM, AC/20/ML build. Other builds need the crit slots, tough.

When or if they add a use, I don't want to be the sucker buying a new one cause I sold it.
I keep a lot of weapons that I don't equip, in case I need them later (for modifications).

I sold all three of mine. It is quite literally useless. You could make an argument for keeping some of the lesser used weapons around, but this? No. There is no indication that they are ever going to do anything to make it functional. The only reason it's in there at all is to keep the weight right.
