I didn't care for Griffin at 1st, but it's growing on me. I'm just grinding out C-bills with one variant now before I buy the other 2.

As far as the looks go, it is a fine looking mech,

But my fav is still the Quickdraw!

the 5K could be dolled up nice, even with Marvin the Martian Antenna.

Founder's Cat and K2 (only with PPCs), Griffin, Locust (so cute!!), and the concept art for the Stormcrow. Orions when they've got a large AC and are bristling with missiles, especially if they're arm mounted missiles.

Bishop Steiner already beat me to it... its the Ballistics (current Meta) just plain Rule this game... I actually hate all medium mechs in this game except for the ShadowHawk... and when I"m piloting a ShadowHawk the only other Medium Mech I fear is the Griffin.... it can mess you up

FYI... only reason I hate Medium Mechs in the game is because of how there is no Role Warfare so Mediums are just plain weaker when compared to the fast heavies or the fast torso twisting Assaults in this game... blame PGI... Every Medium Mech Pilot should get 25 percent compensation in C Bills and XP just for piloting them

OK, Urbie is awesome, especially the DD you have there, but those jenner sketches are a crime against humanity. Pretty sure this violated the Geneva convention in more than one way.

Well, I must admit I am fond of the Griffin both in MWO and in the original Tabletop Game (Battletech) for its look, love the classic aviator style cockpit, and may get one eventually, however due to selling my only other mech so I could buy that nice shiny AS7-D DC (and being flat broke so can't buy MC) I have, Umm.. 1 Mech. Did "Try" a Griffin and did enjoy piloting one though.

And AUSwarrior24, I agree, its a little useless, but always rather liked the locust myself. In Battletech I did have a pilot that used a heavily modified Locust named the "Jackrabbit" (It carried a Meduim Laser and 4 Flamers) and though I made it as a joke, that mech was responsible for many deaths in Battletech, Including an Atlas. My buddy hated that spindly legged pain in his backside.

I'm with you. It has always been my favourite, and I love it in MWO.

I'd love to see a modelling pass on it, not only to strategically pare some fat from its love handles, but to add some detail to it and bring it in line with some of the magnificent new creations rolling off the MWO assembly line here.
