Let's start this party right:

Behold, the Death Star!

So, what's your favorite ridiculous Assault mech build? (By the way, the Death Star WILL self-destruct after a single alpha strike. It's pretty fun to see.)

I think the LRM-100 stalker gets a spot here. Certainly not mine, but TheB33f might deserve a little credit.

I actually tried running this BLR-1S for awhile. I had an idea of what I thought would be a lot of fun, and it just turned out to be a giant furnace. Even with firing the PPCs in pairs, it just couldn't keep cool. It wasn't helped by the fact that I had to put in a smaller than standard stock engine to fit everything on.

It was a fun idea on paper, but just a bad idea in a match,

I wanted to run it as a joke until I got one kill with it, and I actually leveled it through basics this way. The whoile Idea was "1 click, 2 kills"....worked much better that it should have :(

And there`s this atlas build, which looks absolutely fine and even pretty brutal at first glance, though very hot.

Running a Vic-DS with XL400.
2 MPL
1 LPL
2 SSRM
2 MGS

I had no idea jumping around, doing 89 kph in a 80 ton mech could be so much fun.

I built this exact same thing in LSML yesterday and it has 231 ghost heat.

Two-hundred and thirty-one ghost heat.

It's beautiful. I intend to get this thing just to watch it detonate after an alpha strike.

Artillery turret. Great at keeping heads down, and can alpha without shutting down. If a light finds you, you have about 4 seconds to leg or headshot it before it gets within 90m.
AS7-RS

Almost as good as the 9xFlamer hunchie, but with a heat-neutral weapon that actually does damage.
BLR-3M

What's that, Highlander? You want to see properly? Well then, it'd be a shame if *constant missiles*

Working on your Highlander, I'm posting up my new favourite abomination.

It beckons you to the warmth of it's hearth, with all of the SRM6s and Flamers on earth. You get 6 and 2/3 alphas, make them count. Stalker supreeeeeeeeeeeeme!

I run this fairly regularly. It's a Supernova (Clan Mech) in an IS chassis. Runs pretty well, all things considered.

I saw this once after dying in a Locust. He was moving up to get to the fight on Tourmaline. Armour values are guesses, as is ammo placement. Hilarity then ensued.

For a joke I ran this build a couple of times. Alpha would kill you on every map except (if you were lucky) Frozen City.
