So i have been reading the battletech book series for a bit now (in relative chronological order) and i just finished blood of heroes, number 21 on my list. Awesome book and all but the ending is such a cliff hanger its driving me nuts, are there any books that give at least a little detail as to how Alex carlyle fared in his rebellion against the pro steiner rebels?

Try researching Alex Carlyle on Sarna.net

It's been a long time since I read Blood of Heroes, Is that the one where the Grey Death Legion gets wiped out on Hesperus defending the mech factory?

No but that sounds like the answer im looking for though!!!!!! lol its where they are on Glengarry <---- Spelling?
grayson death carlyle is off on summons from victor steiner-davion, and a skye seperatist army under richard steiner attacks the legions home world. and graysons son is forced to man up and fight back.

Ill have to figure out what book it is that they get wiped out in now.

Tactics of Duty is the book you want. Operation Excalibur is a later book that covers the events on Hersperus II.

As I said a long time, might have to go and dig these books out of the shed where they have been packed since I move 4 years ago.

Was sad panda at end of Operation Excalibur.

Back on topic. Does Davis McCall go and rescue Alex during Tactics of duty then? Really dredging my memory here! LOL

I have a collection of some old Battletech books, as well as Mechwarrior Dark Age. I like the Dark Age set better.

Heretic! Any true BattleTech grognard only loves the 3025 universe while liking the Clan Invasion is only permitted in relation to the video games!!
