They completely and utterly messed up the legs compared to original....as seen above.

PGI is expected to put their own flare onto the mechs. Even without it's bulky legs, they pulled the look off fantastically. The Timber Wolf though.... I have no idea what they were thinking when they made the legs like that. It just looks wrong. Here, with the Stormcrow, it looks perfect. That's what I'm getting at.

Yeah I know, I was full of sarcasm there as pointed out above.

I just find it hilarious everyone want absolutely batshit crazy about the timberwolf legs from an odd angle and it was not identical to MW2 etc.
Stormcrow they put a LOT of their own spin on it from the feet not extending past the arms, more angular top and so forth, I think it looks great. However if people are going to be that "STICK TO THE ORIGINAL ARTWORK" then they better chew this one apart.

This one came out much much better than the timberwolf did. Looks great overall and not too blocky.

The mess about TW's legs was not about PGI's "spin", but about disproportion which made most recognizable Mech look sick. They've demonstrated lack of attention to details there, where all fans expected perfection - as FD's artwork has no that flaw. You totally missed the point, so do not try to exaggerate now.

No, it has 22. 10 are hardwired. :D 11 tons of weapons, the rest of the 23 tons of podspace in heatsinks.

The 'Crow looks really nice. The arms are too wide, though. Is there any way they can be tightened up a bit, or made smaller? This is yet another Clan mech that is going to possibly suffer from Trebuchet-itis.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, try running a Treb for a while. You'll get tired of your arms being shot off so fast, costing you half your firepower.

They are wide horizontally but in vertical height they are good.

D'aww they got tiny little hands! X3

Also they sorta look like super-mutated Jenner.

Ugly, in an utterly fantastic way. Like it's mother designed the limbs on the theory that it would "grow into them one day".

Love it, absolutely love it.

Read my friend. Read,

To handle the heavy heat load, the Stormcrow Prime has twelve double heat sinks on top of the ten mounted in the base chassis.[1][4][5]'

Fired up HMP and quickly ran A through D

Noteworthy hardpoints:

A: 4 MPL (LA), 1 SRM6 (RT)
B: 6 ERML (RA), AC20 (LA)
D: 2 SRM2 (LT)

Possible hardpoints:

6 energy (RA)
4 energy (LA)
1 energy (HD)
2 missile (LT)
1 missile (RT)

so 11 energy with 3 missile or 7 energy with 4 missile or 7 energy 3 missile and 1 ballistic.

Stock Crow has 98% armor and goes 97 kph, with 23 tons pod space.

I preordered this when Clan's were announced, as it is my favorite mech and thought that CW was coming soon (again!).

I dont regret the now long forgotten $55 or so but it's bittersweet. Nevertheless, despite goofy hands, I think it looks great and look forward to it.
