Private matches are worth every damn penny I have ever spent on MWO

You should have deployed this months ago....

I would have spent more...

I'd prefer this too. More lights and mediums, maybe 3 heavies and 1 assault per match if they have to do 'limits'.
But tonnage is much more preferred. Especially for CW and merc unit warfare.

So you have the information (numbers of people playing private matches) (and the number of people patching) to say this?.
Its nice to know that PGI is updating you on these numbers so you can say things like this so confidently and accurately.. They are updating you on these stats right?, cause otherwise someone might comment you are full of it..

For those that missed the fist 40mins of matchmaking after the patch went live:

Failing to find match was somewhat an issue (and as some theorize, was causing your mech to clone and drop without you). The real big issue was when you did manage to enter a match, half or more of the players would be missing, leading to unbalanced teams and steamrolls.

Ill suffer through this as i do most other issues. But your " quick fix" and the bugs with 3/3/3/3 has the game in a worse state in live than before the patch( still playable just not the game modes i prefer).I would rather wait a week longer for the real fixes,all youve done is agitate the player base and left yourself rushing to pick up the peices.

slow down, dont quick fix it to get the patch out by gimping game mode selection.

Out of curiosity, has the entirety of the new match making system been disabled or only the part that builds teams using 3/3/3/3? Specifically are we still being divided into elo buckets?

I love the hard-core dirty tech type breakdowns from things like that, so don't spare the details! Just thinking about Matt Craig mentioning race condition is making me a little *too* excited...down there...

ASAP meaning in the next day or two, do you think? Or will it get pushed to the next patch day (which I assume will be this coming Tuesday?)?

So, film grain/DoF/window disabled now, private matches are running (several groups ran hundreds of people in private matches last night), that's awesome. I'd love 3/3/3/3 to be up and going (had a little experience with it before the issues - it was glorious) but I can wait a bit for that.

So you want to sell me a junker... someone else is offering to give you a good working car, for free, but you have to wait for them to change the oil so it works great. You tell them no and that it must be a piece of crap if it needs the oil changed.

That's a bitter, sad way to go through life. Good luck with that. Let us know how that goes.

seems like the new patches caused a fps drop. oh well maybe my puter cant handle this game anymore. anytime there is an update my frame rate falls to the floor.
