Most mechs are already similar to each other. I dont need new mechs any more.(at least not that frequent- 1 mech every 2 months or so would work either)

Either way let the community choose which mech to release. Give the community a choice between a bunch of possible mechs and let them choose and debate about it.

What i want to see is content like:

Maps

New modes

Bug fixes (it took you like a year to have a look into hsr while the srms didnt register many shots. Then (few weeks ago and after a year) you said there was a coding error. Did it really take 1 year to find the error in the code? Cmon .............. <.<

Polishing the game (ui 2 for example is sooo unintuitive...)

new weapons

New Modules

I know you need money to pay your employes and your servers but enuff is enuff. Change your income Model due to this mech spamming is annoying and imo a waste of your ressources.

You could change the premium time and add to it new features so more ppl would buy it.

( like: if you want to create a lobby with more than 4 players you do need premium time

or you can paint your mechs with all colours unless you do have premium time.. Once you run out of premium time the colours are gone and it could get reactivated by buying again premium time)

PGI can Charge Cbills or Real Money for Mechs. They Can't Charge(or at least I don't think they can Charge) Real Money For Content or Maps so it won't happen

It can't really happen OP.

The content (mechs amirite?) has to come out at a steady pace. This means that the amount of stuff not getting fixed is going to grow while they add more bugs later. Oh sure some content will be "reviewed" later but it's a losing battle.

I dont mind temporary bugs but bugs which are there for months and even over a year are not acceptable

You have a flaw in your argument. Unless they are a super small house (think indie small) different people work on different parts of the game. The person making meshes/textures/animations are not the people work on fixing the game or working on gameplay aspects such as new modes. The only argument that could be made is that art has been working on mechs recently and not maps. Which is understandable since they are about to release clan mechs and they need those ready in time. They have even said as much.

Yeah, not on board with you completely. While I want more maps and such, I want more mechs too... The visual differences is enough for me.

restructure your employe base then.. Hire and fire ppl. I know this thread wont make change anything but i do wanna express how i feel about the game and iam pretty sure there are alot ppl who are sick about this mech spamming but no content and all the time broken and not taken promises

Well, they do claim they are indie small. But if that's not the case a new map should be out any day now.

8 new chassis for clan mechs x3 variants is a significant amount of assets to create. This is likely the same people that would be working on maps. I was commenting that the teams that would work on HSR and such are different than the ones making the art assets. But the intro of clan mechs takes a ton more then just art. New weapons. New mechlab. New rules. Etc. Yes you aren't seeing new maps right now. They are working on a bigger content push which for a classical payment architecture would likely be apaid dlc. But you will get it for free.

all excuses. The game is more or less at the same state since a year.. (ui2 has been added and 2 new modes )

We are supposed to be getting a new map every two months? I think that's right.

Dunno what to tell you. Perhaps being a programmer myself I understand why these things happen. Do they suck? Yep, I have 13 mechs that are suppose to give me a faction bonus since October. I've been waiting for cw for Iddon'tknow how long. Coming here and going omg no more mechs iI want maps seems trivial when theoretically the clan mechs are a neccesary step towards cw.

One of the devs asked on the NGNG podcast for people to comment whether they wanted to polish the game more or Community Warfare. The comments were soundly in the favor of community warfare.

I would much rather see Community Warfare.

All i can say that its been the same with pgi.. Slow as hell and they promis stuff which they n I ever do.

To the cw argument.i never said i only want to see maps instead mechs or cw nor i said i dont want to see mechs been released. Pls read the first post instead making stuff up. I want pgi to focus on the game content too instead mechs mechs mechs cuz the game is the same since 1 1/2 years

And community warfare has been prommised for over a 1 year ago then delayed to last summmer and now most likely fall if even.

Reallly this Pgi protecting from some ppl pisses me off due to the ppl who play this game since closed beta will understand how much pgi sucks

Welcome to PGI's vision on MWO. Nothing but mechs (expensive mechs) for last 18 months. That is all they appear able or willing to do. Clan mechs will change things up but bottom line, with three different hardpoints, there is only so much variety to be had.

This is what will be the death for them. Just how much reason do you have to buy mech #100? #110? #120? Once you own a few of each class, how does releasing the 20th medium really change anything for you?

No reason to buy it as theres almost no content to make this game attractive.

Totaly agreed that you dont need 10 mediums as they mostly are comparable to eachother.

as i said in the opening post. Pgi should try to change their income model. away from only selling mechs to selling for example more premium time by adding to it new feaures like above meantioned

Companies listen to one and only one thing. And considering the have retention from closed beta many companies would qualify this as a success. Whining like crazy has always been rubbish. You want to scare the bejesus out of a company and want them to change? Walk away with your money. Enough people do and either they change or go broke. But the truth is, they post screenshots of a new mech and plenty of people are ha0py to throw money at them.

If you want to classify me as some sort of pgi fan boy or whatever. It is an attack on the person and shows you are not able to form a logical argument.
About the maps mechs and cw
I tried to show you the likely path they are taking to more content but this is dismissed as excuses to not making maps.
