My longest game is 2 fu*** days with no stop, with 4 friends, amasing almost 48hrs in a absurd huge map. Almost best history of my life, the intense of fight and the fatigue of game like the pilot on the battlefield. OMFG that was nice. Sorry for my english, im a litte drunk.

we tried a battalion on battalion game once. full aerospace, artillery, and support assets ( I guess you could call it a RCT, if you wanted). if I remember correctly about 60-80 mapsheets, about 80 mechs, 50+ vehicles, about 20 aerospace fighters, don't remember how many infantry.) Lasted close to 4 days straight ( with breaks in between of course, to sleep, eat, and whatever.) we finally called it quits with no one winning. it just got too tiring.

Hmm... actually one of my favorites was one of my first fights in Ft. Collins, CO at the local comic shop. I have a Stalker min and was joining into the game for the first time so they gave my "farmboy" a seat into their bigger game. So I had a 5/6 pilot driving this assault mech basically being a distraction for the enemy team.

The fight was raging and I was pretty much untouched even though I got shot at a lot. The enemie's commander had taken a shot to the head but still had 1 hit remaining. So on a whim I took a shot with my LRM 10 (I believe it was a 10) and hit. Rolled how many, only 1 missle. So we were like yeah whatever and I offhandedly tossed my to hit location.

Headshot.

We joked around ever sicne that fight how my farmer "hit the exaust port right above the main port." Ah good times. I wonder if the Stalker will make it into MWO?

Longest fight was with 2 companies with attached aerospace,, dropships, vehicles and infantry over about 30 maps in a full campaign. It invoved rearming, repairs etc. Playing 3 or 4 times a week it took nearly 3 months.

What is this "Table MechWarrior"? I only know of MechWarrior the PC action simulator, and Battletech the Table Top. You confuse me...

The longest game I have had was only about six hours.

You see, I go to the game store to play Battletech, rather than at home. I prefer it that way, because it puts the game out there so that other people can see the community is still active.

The down side is that you can't put a game on hold and come back to it in the morning. As such, the biggest game I'd ever played was something like 20-on-18, but as can be expected, we didn't even get close to seeing the end of that fight. It didn't help that half the guys that signed up hadn't played since the early-mid 90s and had never heard of C3 networks, much less used them.

I played a 12 hour game of Warhammer 40k once: it was a 3v3 game ^_^

I was normal imperial guard with all the tanks I could field legally. 2 Leman russ, 2 Basilisk, and an armored fist. I basically sat there and threw out templates across the table. (it was IG + 2 space marine versus tyrranids and 2 chaos space marines iirc).

we won! ;)

three days, the battle of Tukayyid using a high school gym. The campaign had run for a couple of years. Leading up to the clan vs. the IS. I was in Fochts role. Yep I had evac'd the entire world of civilians and had every single person on the planet as part of the defense. Every building, every dam, every bridge was rigged to explode. All industry had been shipped elsewhere and been replaced with fake military or booby traps. Used mines, arty, armor, more armor than mechs and we had tons of mechs, including hiding them under water. As well as a full naval force. Huge naval force and subs. the first day of the battle we as the defenders did not use a single mech or vehicle, only set off demolitions and arty and air. Dropped buildings, bridges, legged mechs. Then recovered them and hid them. Huge amounts of oil was used to set off battalion destroying fire damage. It was a thing of beauty. Second day we used the navy and the air and armor plus even more of the day one nastiness. Day three we unleashed our mechs into the damaged Omni's We outnumbered them by then almost two to one in number and weight and had destroyed almost all of the elementals. We still only got a draw. But to us it was the same as a win. It was epic. Hundreds of us were playing with multiple gm's for the hidden stuff. Wires were run at 7 feet up from wall to wall to run the aero space stuff on massive strafing runs.

We played every week for almost three years before the big battle. Starting as single pilots in a single mech working up to regiments worth of mercs. Well some of us didn't mind being officers, others just kept in their single mech. It was a lot of fun. Wish I was that young again that I could do that again. But to old and broken now.

I played in a TT combat scenario that took over 2 months to play. The players started with a full reinforced regiment of mixed Star League and 3025 mechs fighting against multiple regiments of Kurita mechs. At the end of the combat the players had a company worth Mechs left, but they were able to evacuate the planet. We played on a ping pong with maps over the entire table. We had to "roll the map" (moving it the length of the table) over 4 times because that is how long it took the player forces to reach an evacuation point.

I once took part in a battalion on battalion campaign that took place over six weeks. Each player was given a mech company and mission objectives for the weekend and had to assign lances to assist in objectives.

Final battle involved the remains of the battalions in stand up fight. (I think it was 24 mechs vs 19 mechs) it took about 12 hous to play.

The annoying thing was that I was away for the penultimate week and my replacement had gotten my command mech (a Victor) blown to kingdom come so my commander went into battle in a Salvaged Jaegermech.

My one and only game was about an hour with the Battletech 4th Edition Box Set with my bro. So awesome with those card board pieces and paper map!

Tukkayyid. My Com Guard Level III-alpha vs. a trinary from the Falcon Guards, using the floor of the spare room & all the scenery we could scrounge. After 2 days we'd fought each other to a draw. Massive carnage.

Love to have the chance to play a super long game. Longest game I ever played of TT was 1707 Classic, IS houses only, RCT vs RCT with two units of air support each.

You'd think it went well, but the first turn we both shot each other's aircraft down with Flak artillery so...

Only ever played in company on company games. Longest was about eight hours lots of fun when there are actual objectives. The guy who ran it loved to complain about the stats of his dice rolls. His favorite quote "What are the odds of that?!"

Six days total for the Dawn of the Jihad (Dawn of Darkness) event, with the 32nd Galedon Regulars and support going against a Word of Blake division on Imbros III.

Downside is that it burned out alot of players for a few months.

longest games (2: one lead to another) was against me and my dad. he was clan i was a bunch of farmer's kids in heavies and light mechs. i was winning for the most part:

killed his second in command with a headshot
crippled his loki (leg)

But he took out my main distraction (poor raven) and got the jump on my catapult. i eventually had to surrender and got captured and started to go back to their dropship.

i had a few more mechs on hand going to intercept the convoy of captured mechs and prisioners (the clan mechs went on ahead to the dropship). as i closed in they started to scatter. i intercepted them all before the heavies started to come back. the prisoners got into the mechs and we jetted out of the field, thus winning the game.

My biggest was a about a week in a battle between 2 battalions plus support. It turned very strategic as ammo supplies and units capable of repairing were targetted and taken out, sometimes in suicide runs by lights which was interesting.
