You have to sell them all and buy them again, they 'flag' to the first position they were installed in. Keep in mind your new ones will flag as well, but to the place you put them in when you buy them.

You can also mount all your old ones on 'Mechs (if possible) to get around this, but it's one of those glaring flaws in the Mechlab right now (along with occasionally allowing locations to add more items than crit spaces, resulting in save errors).

yea it didnt work, torso racks moved.I have the energy highlander and i put a 20 and 2 10s in the rack spots so i get them all out in one volley(a 10 and 20 in chest and a 10 in arm) ;)

The only other mechs I own are a awsome aq (all energy) and the freebee cent and it has no missles on it

I have that problem on my Highlanders, but not on my Orions with about the same setup. Same LRM launchers used, so not sure if it's a bug or feature.

Simple, stop using missiles. Medium lasers and machine guns for everyone!

if a specific missile launcher is jumping in front of the launcher you want first, (temporarily) mount the trouble making launcher on another mech and try again

at worst you may have to buy the 2nd launcher, but you should never have to buy the first launcher if you own it

Weapons sort themselves based on how "old" they are.

If you have an LRM-20 that you have lying around in your inventory for months, and then you buy a brand new SRM-4 to install, followed by that LRM-20, the LRM-20 gets first dibs, goes into the 1st slot, and your new SRM-4 goes into slot 2.

To fix it, you need to remove all of the weapons that screw up, hide them on other mechs for now (or just sell them), install your first weapon, save it, wait a bit, then litterally purchase a brand new weapon to be in the 2nd slot.
