Ok so on vulcan i decide to rush a raven and only a raven so i rush him and only him do 89 damage to his face according to battle screen and he lives before i overheat and die. So how is it a raven can take 12 medium lasers to the nose while standing still? I've noticed that since the huggins release the raven seams harder to kill than some assaults. Please explain!

You might be dealing with a number of issues, but it might be plausible that the Raven in question was well armored in the front torso, here's an example.

It's plausible that you dealt damage across the front three sections of the raven if the Armor was set up as 28 - 40 - 28. Which can absorb as much as 96 damage on Armor alone.

Along with what it takes to damage internal structure, which should be 16 - 22 - 16 / 54 in total.

Another factor is not being able to hold you Mediums Lasers on target for their full duration. I know I can't, and you can check your own stats when you login here: https://mwomercs.com...ats?type=weapon.

My current ML stats:
83.10% accuracy
~ 3.24 damage per hit (Calculated by dividing Damage by Hits: 7,439 / 2,291 = 3.247...)

If you like email Support also.

OP should be proud that a Liao Mech is so, well built.

I don't quite get it...

So you fired one medium laser 12 times (or 4 three times, or 6 lasers 2 times, whatever) and died from overheating ? Against a target that was stationary ?

One mlas does 5 points of damage per shot over the length of the beam duration so ... 12 times 5 = 60 damage to one spot IF you held that spot. So the Raven Praetor Shepard posted would have survived with red internals (hitpoints = armor + internals, internals = max front+rear armor devided by 2, in this case: 62HP from the front).

But sorry I just can't wrap my head around this ... some more info would be nice.

Sometimes a Mech takes much more damage than usual - its not clear if the damage shown in the endscreen is the damage the server counted.
I myself did once ~400 damage to a Raven and only 1 leg of it got destroyed.

I encounter often Lights that face me straight and take the damage i pump into them for little effect - ok, i dont use Metabuilds...the most Pinpoint-FLD-Alpha i have is 20, Lasers be Dot-Weapons (Damage Over Time) and work better the bigger and slower a Mech is.

To kill a Light quick the PPC/AC-Meta wit Pinpoint-FLD-Alphas of 30+ is your friend.
