I'm patientely waiting till payday to buy my elite founders pack and today i see there's a Legendary edition.
At first glance, i'm like cool, so mechs themselves are $20 each. or about thats since you only get an extra month prem account and 3 extra mechs for your extra $60.
So i have a look over the youtube vdieo's and in one of them Russ is said at the release date there's be 2 styles of play, the single life 12 per side deathmatch version with capture the base and such variations, but with the solo life idea.
Second style is the hot drop as he mentioned from the atlas making planet fall, saying each time you die, you can then take the next mech in your bay tilll all 4 are destroyed.
i then thought about this and came to a conclusion.
What if i buy the legendary pack and you get all 4 mechs. what happens when i want to get a Stalker? am i limited to being only able to ever own 4 mechs at 1 time? or can i have say a storeage of say 10 mechs and my drop ship will carry 4 so i pick the 4 i want to have? Or are all the legendary founder packs buyers going to have to sell off/sack one of there mechs to be able to get a different mech. I'd like a Jenner, Centurion, Catapult and a Stalker.
I'm not the biggest fan of the atlas or hunchback so i'm like, hmm, would be nice to be able to just add a 2nd founders mech.
Have you, the dev's, thought of those who buy elite status can add additional founder mechs for an extra $20 incase people don't like the all 4 options given?
I want to be a legendary player but i don't want all of those 4 mechs, well i could make do with the atlas in a pinch, but hell no to the hunchback.
Though still if the 4 bays you have in your dropship is the limit i can have to the number of mechs i can own, then there's no way i'm buying Legendary and will settle for Elite as this will allow for me to gather the mechs i really want, not just the 4 offered in the Legendary pack.
suggestions, thoughts anyone?

Read the Founder's Q&A thread.
The founder mechs don't take up any of the default 4 slots.

Its in the Q&A Thread the Founders Mech's will not count towards your 4 Mech Bays at launch.

It was normal in the other titles to only take a lance of 4 mechs into battle via drop ship. Which is what I assumed by that explanation in the video. Your hanger/base logically would have unlimited space or least enough space it didn't really matter?

If you buy a Legendary Founder's pack you will have eight mech bay slots. Four of those will be filled with your founder's mechs. If you buy Elite you get five slots with one of those filled with your founder's mech.

As the others said - basically you get a free "Prime" variant mech of each weight class and an accompanying bonus slot which will have improved money making capability (25%). You lose nothing except some money!
Having played World of Tanks that bonus is going to be really useful to grind C-Bills for better/more mechs and equipment.

You only get 4 to start, but you will most likely be able to buy more. (eather c-bill, or real money unknown yet)The founder mechs get there own bays just for them from the sounds of it.
