Evening tournament will be at the Steiner/LCAF HUB

Teamspeak address: TS1.housesteiner.com

Gather at 7:30PM EST, Event starts at 8pm EST

This event is open to the community, but as it is an LCAF vs. FRR tournament, should you join us, you'll have to declare for a side.

This will be a lance tournament. Your lance leader MUST have premium time active. At the beginning of the tournament, your lance leader (who MUST have premium time) will declare what side they will be fighting for (Steiner or FRR) and report to the Scorekeepers.

Each lance will consist of 1 light, 1 medium, 1 heavy, 1 assault.

Consumables: There will be no artillery or airstrikes allowed. You are limited to ONE UAV per game.

Maps and opponents will be assigned to you by the scorekeepers before every game. This will be a Swiss Paired event, with playoffs as necessary. The number of matches has not been determined, but expect to drop for around 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

At the end of the event we will announce the most successful lances, and of course, the overall faction winner.

Scorekeepers: Peiper and Chaos585

Aw, I was hoping lances would be grouped to drop 12 v 12, but I guess this will be more fair.

The Blue Vengeance plans to be there in full strenght, at least at the EU event.

The main reason for lance v. lance is to allow small units and groups of friends to participate. I do like the idea of maybe trying some 12 v 12 where 3 lances are put together to fight 3 other lances. This is the first private lobby type tournament I'll have tried, and so, keeping things simple to start is a good thing. For the 'Clan Invasion part III event' we might do something different. I'd like to see 6 v 6 or even 8 v 8. I think we'll use our experience on Sunday to figure out what to do for the following Saturday.

This afternoon went smoothly after the mismatch of European and American times.

5 v 5 lances, and I believe everyone had a great time!

1st place went to Blue Vengence.
2nd place, after a tiebreaker, went to Clan Ghost Bear 140th Striker Cluster.
3rd place went to the 331st Royal Combat team.

Though the FRR won more medals, the Lyran Commonwealth had higher overall scores with House Steiner beating the Free Rasalhague Republic 40.5 to 33! The complete scorechart will be available after tonight's tournament.

I invite you all to be there! Have your lance gather at the House Steiner teamspeak at 6:30 Eastern time. And if you aren't a Lyran or Rasalhaguer, you're still welcome to join us for a good time. (Though we might ask you to play for one side or another when we see how many teams we have fighting for each side.)

The following link is to the two scoresheets for our tournaments today.

https://docs.google....it#gid=49713993

The evening tournament had 14 lances participate in total, but due to disparity of forces we played it as a general lance tournament.

There was a tie for first place.
1st Rasalhague Dragonregimentë was victorious in the tiebreaker match, winning 1st place in the tournament!
Both second and third places were secured by the 5th Regimental Combat Team "Ghost Legion"

Congratulations to the winners and thank you all for attending!

Event was good fun even though the overwhelming forces of the Steiner's show we are yet a Minor House. Now as a matter of Viking Honor I may have to challenge the Blue Vengeance team that won the afternoon event to a match to decide a true winner.

I salute all of you who attended and hope to be able to participate in more events with you all!
