Well, the title says it all. I'm trying to connect, but I get that error. I have perfect internet connectivity, I can browse quickly, download, etc. I've also used the repair tool and it's no use.

It's just some times a day. Something like that happens to me in TF2 when I try to play. When I spectate, everything just freezes in place and I get a connection error (with more than 1000 packages in the In spot). This new UI doesn't allow me to even see my mechs before giving me that error.

Any help? if it's my ISP, what kind of error is it? I will try to change it if a company error.

I've been having this issue for almost a week now... my mechs are getting dusty in the mechbay. Any workarounds on this, anyone? I've tried reinstalling the game, worked for a few sessions but popped up again. I've also googled this a bit (saw some similar threads here in forums), still no dice.

Yep, I'm having this problem too.
Re-installing the game to see if it works after.
Will advise.

I had the Problems two weeks ago. Uninstalling and installing helped in my case. Yesterday after installing the patch same problem after a few matches. Uninstalling and installing helped again. But that is not what i think a solution should be like.

There are three threads regarding this bug. so could you please at least give a comment about what the status is?!

Friggin' hell.
1st login after re-install resulted in an unknown failure.
2nd login - the same.
Exited the client, then run it again.
Login failed.
Logged-in another time, it worked!

I don't know why it does this, but it's annoying.

I'm getting the same error. The sequence of events is like this:
1.Connection to server lost error. (all other net applications functioning fine with no packet loss)
2. Close client.
3. Relaunch client.
4. Connect, and the client disconnects before loading the mech bay portion of the UI with an"unknown Error". Again, all other net applications are functioning.

I ran the repair tool last night when this first started, and it STILL happens.

I've encountered this a few times now. Here is when I get the error, and the process I follow to get things working again. I can't explain why it works, and it might now work for everyone, but it works for me:

Error usually starts when I d/c from a match even with good ping and FPS.
Try to log back in, says unknown failure when trying to load into the mech bay, game kick me back to log-in screen.

1) I run the repair tool located at http://patcher.mwome...ORepairTool.exe
2) After tool has run, I shut down the computer.
3) Start computer back up, When I click to run the game, I hit the esc button to skip the CryEngine and Opening Sequence.
4) Log-in, hit esc while mech bay is loading.
5) Should load up in Mech bay.

Hope this helps some of you folks out.

In addition to the unknown error problem as mentioned here, now I get a DNS error saying the client is unable to resolve patcher.mwomercs.com.

Punches me sad, came back from vacation and whanted to fetch the free mech for 5 wins thogh... i fear this will end without even able to connect in time -.-

Hey Valadrion, try uninstalling and installing again. This worked for me both times the error occured.

It's not what i think a Workaround should be like but at least it works so that you can get your free centurion. :-)

Hey guys, sorry for all your troubles. We've gone through several of your cases in detail now and it's clear there is a common issue occurring for many of you. We're working on steps to reproduce the issues right now, but in the meantime we've got a couple theories.

One theory has a slightly inconvenient workaround that some of you might be able to try out for us. From looking at session history, it looks like many of you were initially disconnected while in-game. You quickly attempt to log in again, and end up in a cycle where you try to log in, and within 10 or 20 seconds get disconnected again. It's possible the new UI is not clearing out its' backlog of requests from previous sessions, and this might be interfering with your consecutive logins. When you end up in this state, could you try shutting down the game client in-between login attempts? I know it's a bit inconvenient, but if this has an impact on your ability to log in again, that would be really useful information for us to know either way.

Once again, my apologies for your difficulties. We'll try and get this resolved as soon as we can.

I found a solution to the problem, but it might sound weird.

Go to your Internet Explorer (yes, IE) and go to settings and from the homepage press ''Use default'' or something. It has solved my problems with League of Legends always and it solved this as well. However, I have no idea why it helps.
