Every time you release a large patch for this sad game it corrupts my entire game. Now as I have been gone for some time I come back and there are 31 patches to install. Patch 1 / 31 failed. God only knows how many of the others will give me the same trouble.

This was the log file I got when I tried to do a clean reinstall. It completely failed and crashed my computer. Not that it matters, but I lost some sensitive data when this happened, thanks for that.

These kind of issues should have been sorted out in the Beta, but they weren't. I came back to try and give your game a second chance, but I can't even play because of your awful I don't even know what, but it's bad.

Don't try to patch if it gets that way- run the repair tool instead. MWO's coding is NOT the most stable in the world when it tries to catch up to large numbers of patches, and the relatively slapdash patching means what happened to you is disturbingly common.

Like wanderer said use the repair tool, and I agree this sort of nonsense is pretty pathetic for a company that is not new to this sort of thing.

Where do I get the repair tool is it a separate download or is in the game files?

It's a separate DL.

Yeah, your right - there was an option under the little settings button for "repair installation". Unfortunately it never worked so I guess they decided to remove it altogether.

Shame, as it would be a good idea!
