Already mentioned numerous times in this thread, we were expecting more functionality in this game a long time ago (CW, etc)
So we bought content un good faith because we were told the game would have community warfare, factions etc.

We were told it would be available a very long time ago.

If you go to a flower store to buy your girl a rose, and the flower salesperson sayes "well, we don't have any roses yet, but we do have daisies, buy a daisy, and we'll give you a rose tomorrow/"

OK, sounds reasonable. You buy the Daisy.

Now you come back the next day:
"Well our Roses didn't come in, but if you buy this other daisy, we'll give you that Rose next week, sure thing."

OK, the daisy isn't too bad, so you buy another daisy.
You come in the next week.
"Well we forgot to order our roses last week, but we're working on that right now! Wuold you like a daisy?"

That's what we have been getting. If you like being mislead that's fine, All that money we've spent on mechs and other content is pretty much stuck in a state of stale.The game is 2 dimensional, and we were told it would be much deeper than it is.

How is that hard to understand?

Mislead is not a harsh enough word. We were lied to on multiple occasions about when CW would come out. PGI has admitted at the time they set dates for CW they had not even started seriously designing it, let alone coding it. PGI had to know at the time they made statements about when CW would be available that there was no way they could design and code it in that time frame along with all the other issues on their plates.
