Hi Bryan,

Are there other PGI employees getting into either Star Citizen or Elite Dangerous? You guys have some sort of organization set up

Just me so far that I know of for both. No orgs set up yet. ED has been fun to play, nice art style, controls are tricky, but rewarding when learned.

It's a development studio, not a support center.

There are places that tend to consolidate a lot of gaming companies, and Austin, TX is one of them. Along with places like Toronto and Vancouver.

My guess is there is a direct correlation between the amount of weed in the local economy and the prevalence of gaming studios. /looks at Seattle.... Yup! CONFIRMED!

After the... I lost count, but 7th or so delay to the DFM (and no end in sight), the forums over there are in an uproar. It's funny; they seem like a mirror image to the MWO ones. "CIG lied, they can't program, they don't communicate, they communicate via Twitter instead of their website, it's a scam", yadda yadda yadda.

The irony is delicious. At least I have MWO to tide me over while I wait (and wait) for the DFM!! ;)

Mr Ekman, I believe it's time to send an Open Letter to CIG to ask them if they need any help. :P

This is true. Some people like to think that MWO has a special place in the gaming world as a unique case, but in reality every game has an island of inconsolable individuals who were horribly, horribly wronged by <insert company name here>.

On the other hand, it may actually be going live today! Official post on the forums saying to back up your user directory because the upgrade deletes all your screenshots. Maybe I *will* be dogfighting tonight!!

I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade , but this is still Beta in SC so what happens when game finally goes live for the masses and begins getting nerfed or tuned to peoples whos expectations are different than your own, I think the community will turn like this ones as well .(Then again its the same cycle for every game that has ever come out online ever lol) but gl hf to those who are playing SC :)

Need to correct you there. This is the first public release... People are jumping up in enjoy...
Do recall what was initial intention to release back in Dec 2013 and they are releasing now 6 months later. I think the number of game modes is going to make you.. COUGH !!

SC: Doesn't work. :)

Although I was able to hop into my Hornet and get the Arena Commander splash screen before a Connection Lost error and the CTD! :blush:
