Greetings MechWarriors,

We are pleased to introduce a number of new content additions to you today. May is the month of celebrating people! Not just because there are so many community-run events already appearing around private matches. We have a few great community-inspired cockpit items to offer: Don't forget to grab an ice cream sundae or a horn of mead while you wait for the reactor to come online.

The reactor I am speaking of is a 240 XL powerhouse nestled in the core of the deadly IV-Four. This Quickdraw boasts dual AC/5s and shoulders a pair of SRM-6s. Don't think you can easily disarm this maverick, even without it's rifles and depleted of ammunition, it can continue to surprise the enemy with a pair of medium pulse lasers. As with all Hero mechs, you get an added 30% to your C-Bill rewards while using it along with the pride of wearing a limited edition camo and hardpoint configuration.
For the every-man, a Trial Champion has stepped forward: The Orion ON1-K(C) fields BAP to complement it's twin SSRM's, making additional use of both endo-steel and ferro-fibrous upgrades to help carry it's AC/10 along with a pair of large lasers for pilots to add the final scorching touch to your enemies.

Alongside these destructive additions, we have a breadth of bug fixes to our Launch Module system. Shortly after its release, a number of issues were discovered and this patch helps resolve the majority of cases where multiple 2-4 member groups or even a complete 12-person group are pitted against an entire pick-up group in public matches. We have also resolved an issue which was preventing the use of the third-person view option mode and introduced fixes for edge cases and glitches where the parts of the UI became unusable or invisible.

We understand that many players are concerned regarding the delay of the 3/3/3/3 feature and are happy to report that while we had been forced to revert to the previous matchmaker for the public queues for the time being, the introduction of private lobbies seems to have re-invigorated the esteem of many competitive units and inspired many individuals to play more in both public and private matches alike. We highly recommend checking out some of the events these units are planning in our Community-Run Events sub-forum. We are continuing our work to reintroduce 3/3/3/3, which should bring a great deal more balance to matches, and we are all too eager to keep you informed through the Announcements and Command Chair as we push forward. In the meantime, please see the notes below for all the specifics on what's being added today!

Please refer to the Patch Notes for more specific details on what's included today: http://mwomercs.com/...91-06-may-2014/

Thanks for standing by,

There is no mention of the "other" part of the SRM fix that was supposedly found which didn't make it into the last April patch. It is not mentioned here either what is the status on that fix? I believe it was mentioned that it would not be making the April 29th patch in the NGNG podcast from ~ 2 weeks ago.

Due to the issues found in the Matchmaker system and 3/3/3/3, we were forced to redirect attention which would have otherwise gone into testing the SRM fixes. We apologize for this delay, as we are want to see 3/3/3/3 and the SRMs in ASAP so that we may move on further down our pipeline. While we appreciate that some other players mentioning they believe attention should also have been diverted away from such things as the Mechs, it's worth noting that we are ahead of schedule in our Mech content. While this begs the question from others as to why the Mechs weren't thus delivered sooner: We still have to deliver this content in a regular and controlled manner so as to neither starve nor flood that particular aspect of our market.

Okay, that's clear. What about new portion of Warhawk screenshots to sugar the long wait for 3333? First 3 pics were quite small and distorted, we hunger for more!

Too bad about 3/3/3/3....I think that's going to be really fun when it finally does come out.

Anyone else having issues finding a public match? Group of 2, one GRF-3M and one SHD-2H(P)... any mode. Waited on "searching" approx 8 minutes. Cancelled search. Tried again, at 8 mins again... still no match.

Thanks for the update, not what I was hoping for but I understand QA is usually a limited resource. It especially seems that way when something unexpected comes up.

Nikolai, I have a question for you about the 3/3/3/3.

Will it force 4 man groups to be 1/1/1/1 ?

12 man queue is empty or broken right now... 10 minutes of "searching" and nothing.

So, Niko, are we actually getting a new Command Chair, maybe a VLOG, concerning development of Community Warfare: Phase One ~ Association, yet, or maybe an update on the Merc Corps interface? These are the things I'm looking forward to; the game plays fine for me, in general.

Niko, even if the 3/3/3/3 limit is not coming shortly, can you consider turning the elo buckets back on ?

2 man group dropping problems might be because of the "no more than 1 group" rule. Wouldn't be surprised if it's prioritizing larger groups so smaller groups can't drop because there's not enough PUGs

NO, it will just prevent them from launching in 4 of the same mech class (It already does that now, even with 3/3/3/3 turned off, or at least it did pre-this patch)

Also, FYI: the Mech Stats (Profile -> Stats -> Mech Stats tab) page is not working for me, all of the mech name fields are empty.

I'm not sure having two 2-4 mech teams on one side was that big of a problem. As often as not they wouldn't coordinate all that much better than one team + pugs. The 12 mech team vs pugs, however, was just a roflstomp for the team. That needed to be fixed, sounds like it has been.

There was going to be a VLOG rather recently to pair with the Launch Module, but this had to be held back until we could resolve some issues. I cannot reveal all the other details, as we may have to adjust the video still, but I can tell you we hope to answer once and for all what the Warhorns are.

More Command Chair updates are going to come in the following weeks, and we are eager to announce the introduction of a major new demo event within the game. Futher updates on Community Warfare will come as those draw closer in the pipeline and have more content worthy and ready to show off, rather than frustrating any sensitivities by rehashing designs we have already put forward. Sincerely hope you understand.

But I want it nooooooow!
