So it happened twice last night and 3 times so far tonight. I click "Play Now" select what I want to play and attempt to start, then nothing. Doesnt show its searching or anything. I wait and wait and wait then my mech shows in game. Ive tried switching mechs but then the same thing happens. Only way I can join a game is to restart the client, but then whatever mech I had tried to join with is "In Game".

Exactly the same thing now happenining to me. Started this morning, searches for a pulbic match and then simply stays in UI 2.0 The mech however is in game. Haven't been able to play at all today.

Now watched it happen,gets to the loading screen then instead of going into the game, dumps back to UI2.0 No error messages, UI working as it should, only becomes apparrant when you try and "play now" and it informs you your mech is in game.

I have noticed on the 2x occasions (out of 5) tht I have got in-game several other mechs loaded and then not moving for the wole game.

If anything is whoring out your internet connection via streaming, it will cause MWO to absolutely shart the bed.

If Steam is updating a game it gets terrible. I would assume downloading stuff or streaming entertainment will do the same.

MWO does not like to share resources.

I'd simply like to confirm this bug. Happens 1 time out of 5-10 times. Restarting the client is the only solution. I'd like to point out that I'm no noob. I'm not running downloads, bittorrent clients or anything else. Of course I cannot control the update routines of anti virus software and other stuff, but I did not witness such updates having been processed during this time.

what if you alt+tab out and back in?

I had this happen but the whole interface was wrong. it was like the mouse cursor was not in the place it was shown. If I put the cursor somewhere to the left of buttons they would light up and I could click them. hovering over them made it seem like they didn't work.
