Greetings All,

I am still working with a 'phracht 1x and have maxed out the Basic, but am grinding C-Bills (only have 2M), till I can get another one. Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway) I will have a lot of xp unused on this chassis. Is there a way to transfer it to, say an x4 if I get that chassis or will I just be able to blow thru the Elites real quick after 2 more chassis?

You can convert Mech XP to General XP by spending MC (real money) once you have all of the Basics unlocked. Then you can use General XP on any chassis you own.

The cheapest way to do it is keep using your existing Phract, building up XP which you will eventually use to Elite and then Master it, even though you can't do that until you've Basiced two other variants.

I recommend you buy an Ilya so that you accelerate both the CBill and XP accumulation. It is also the best Phract in its own right (some will say the 3D, but in the current meta you can't beat the 3 ballistic slots on the Ilya)..

This is correct.

However, his point is still good: Particularly when you're starting out, it's really helpful to grab a hero in your set of three mechs to fund upgrades, weapons, and new chassis purchases towards getting all three.
