Hello,

For three days in a row, our game has been patching. Every day it patches a minimum of 4 times. This is the third day in a row that it does the exact same thing, and Im starting to suspect snafus. Its always the same patch, one big followed by three small, and this repeats iteself at least twice per day (hence (1+1)x2.

I have searched the forums for patch notes, but I have found none. My conclusion is this:
It is one patch, followed by 2-3 small bug fixes. Our launchers does, for some reason, do this twice in a row... once, twice, or even thrice per day.

We have patched pretty much the entire weekend.

Any one rekognize this? What should I we do?

Are you playing from Northern Europe (Sweden, Finland), by chance ?
There have been reports like this from people of that region.

A while back something similar was happening (don't remember the affected countries though). It was basically a networking issue that prevented the MWO-client from verifying it's own version and forced a redownload of the game just to repeat that after a while and then repeat it again.

As I myself wasn't affected by that bug I didn't pay much attention to it so I'm sorry if this lacks details or ways to fix it.

Your best bet is to submit a support ticket, the actual support-people might know what to do.

Yes, we are playing from Sweden, north Europe I guess.

I am having the same problem. Also living in Sweden.
Annoying since the game has a tendency to crash, and then you have to
patch again.

It contains the symptoms and the reason behind them i.e. one of your patch servers is running an old version and offering that to people. Please don't tell me this is the first time you're hearing about this problem, which affects hundreds or thousands of mechwarriors at least in Finland or Sweden. I already contacted Niko Snow about the matter 4 days ago.

Same problem here, also living in Sweden. I think all my friends (in Sweden) also have this problem.

Is this related to the "the remote name could not be resolved :patcher.mwomercs.com" message i am getting from time to time right now? Or is it my isp spitting on my glorious 360 triple gauss no-scope 3rd person mad skillz ?
