If you're like me you turned off easy mode long ago, AC40 Jaegers, poptart,s and LRM boats arent for us. No, we are a strange breed, looking to have FUN and maybe CHALLENGE ourselves with different weapons and obscure builds. I give you the Angry BJ, with the armor of an atlas' leg, firepower of the mighty AC40 Jaeger, and looks only a mother could love. Thats right its an AC40 Black Jack. I know im not the first to make this build but I havent ever seen a post on it so I figured I might aswell.

I also made a short video out of a match I had where I was fortunate enough to score 3 kills (with help ). This is my first video, so the editing and quality arent great so go easy lol.
Piloting this mech is quite a rush as you have to blend in with your team and not draw any fire, which is actually easier than it sounds, as BJs tend to be ignored when heavier mechs are near.

I die half way through so the second half is just spectating lol.

LBX-10 + small laser Locust.

XL 100 engine, zero armor and a tweaked top speed of 89.1 kph. Also only 1 ton of ammo.

that is such a bad build, it needs jj or you have to do it on a cicada Before turrets you can power down on the base and just wait for the cap.

I would be absolutely lost in a Jack without jets. But I love the fact that you're experimenting with them.

I would add a JJ, except I have zero slots available and I want DHS so I can alpha more. I could go for the XL200 but then if I also used a JJ i would have 1 ton less armor and its pretty thin as it is lol.

P.S. a single AC20 and a proper build is WAYYYYY better than this, but I wont use an AC40 Jaeger so this is as close as I could get.

Thats a fun build too a bit meta for my taste, but I would lose a DHS and add a ton of armor or AC20 ammo... and move the ammo from the CT to legs.

That's pretty great, I may have to give this a shot. I just started on the Blackjacks. Was trying to find something to revitalize my interest in mediums, and found that I could stuff my Dragon (Gauss and 4 Med) build into a BJ, and then enjoy hauling ass around in a medium weight again

Also, I love the buccaneer paint on the BJ!

Make sure to use the buccaneer pattern on your Angry BJ for the prominent teeth.

never understood the uber slow light/mediums...aren't they just a death trap waiting to happen? specially that LBX locust.
