So, It's official. PGI feared what Team PugLife represented so much that we were not included in the Tournament for fear that we would "PugStomp" the organized teams.

Its okay. We understand their thinking. It would have brought too much embarassment to some of those teams and they all would likely have rage quit the game. We honestly don't want that on our hands, so we are all okay with this.

Maybe at some point the organized teams will be ready for us, and we can try again.

Better luck next time Mechwarriors

I hate it when they have "quite" the game. Wish they would just quit, instead.

Would make sense to give teams that got scr00d on this tourney a "priority" entree into the next one.

Eh? First dibs? Eh?

Sadly, Team PUG Life was beaten to the punch of getting a full complement of 15 players by about 44 other teams :D

Were this not a test tournament and were we open for more teams and such, we would gladly have plenty more onboard.

SHHHHHH.... they don't need to know that.

Our version is better.

Personally, with the amazing amount of response and posts on the Team PugLife thread, you guys SHOULD have been selected.

What you showed was a fine example of hard work in putting together a team. You also showed motivation (lots and lots of that), support for MWO, and a great sense of community.

This is coming from a guy who really isn't into the above.

I think Pug Life got the **** end of the stick.

Interesting thing to note: I looked at all the names on the teams that were selected. I have never ever played against a single one of them. This could mean that 1. My ELO truly sucks hairy goat balls 2. There are far far far far far more players in MWO than I remotely imagined (yet when I do play, I end up playing against the same people constantly no matter what time of the day it is.. odd) or finally 3. I am a mushroom.

:)

PGI you really screwed up in not selecting Pug Life.

Wow, here I thought PugLife was inundated with applications. I'll fight for PugLife any time they need an extra body.

PUG-LIFE FOREVER!

Wasn't a matter of enough willing people. Just couldn't get them all signed up in time.

yeah, they kinda made it sound like only the leader needed to fill out the application and done. Instead it was fill out the application and have your 14 other members log in and opt in. Took a bit of time to get word around (we have jobs and stuff).

cSand did his part promptly.

<--- Is wondering if the contradictory nature of an organized premade group/unit being called Team PUG Life is being fully appreciated here...

It's like being in a band called THE LONE RANGERS...

Your kind words, they warm my PUG heart

It was nice to see such a great response from the guys on the team and other forum members, even some shout-outs in game from people who saw the thread.

Would have been fun, but that's the way she goes. No point in being bent up about not getting in. We'll know to be faster next time :D In the meantime we'll be honing our skills in the mean streets of the public queues :D We'll be back again for the next tourney!

PUGLIFE wishes the best to all the teams that made it!

... and yes Bhael, I fully grasp the irony here :D
