I am beset by all sorts of login, perpetual connection sync, disconnection problems centered around the UI which itself looks and feels very awkward, same old boring maps, an annoying pro-light, pro LRM meta, truly fuzzy, muddy looking graphics, stained glass (some game does this so much better), having feet trapped in many of the maps especially River City. I especially hate the random drops.
Every night I open the game to play, the % of me buying the packs keeps eroding downward.

I advise you to look at some deals websites then. The last game I paid near full price for was Skyrim. Oh, I guess by your logic that counts as a port too. Bioshock Infinity is another awful port I suppose too... regardless, I don't need videogames or Clan mechs day 1.

The largest problem of this isn´t that it´s "boring" for a certain (unknown, lack of statistics) amount of players.
The key problem of this meta is that it makes a lot of chassis totally redundant, because it is easy to sort out the mechs that can and can not follow the meta. From this point on, it´s pure streamlining down to the best choice and a lot of chassis fall short and rot unbought in the store.
This makes mech creation inefficient for PGI; if they invest time and money into creating a mech that is not bought or enriches the player expirience, they have burned money.

It's like PGI is trying to sell you some Cars, but the hook is that's all they will tell you.
PGI: "Hey.....we've got these great new cars to sell you and if you buy them in a group you can have them for only X dollars!"
Player: "Wow, cool! What's the mileage? Are they all new? What kinda engine, tires, accessories do they come with?"
PGI: "We won't tell you that, and even if we did it's likely a that we will switch those tires and remove the sound system before delivery"
Player: "But it comes with Bluetooth and air-conditioning right?"
PGI: "Well, we are thinking about that, so yes! However the bluetooth isn't really going to work the way you think it is and the air-conditioning is likely to be down-graded to power windows, for more "environmental" heat dissipation.
Player: "Got it! So if you make those changes after I pay for these cars, you will adjust the price!"
PGI: "Oh no, just pay us Full price based on what we don't tell you and you think you should get, and we will keep that cash because we, well it's kinda complicated, math and all....you wouldn't understand".
Player: "TAKE MY MONEY!!! I LOVE your business mode, it's so flexiblel!!!"
PGI: "I love you man! Did you want engines with those?"

Rarely updates probably a month or 2.
What does this mean, anyway. We as customers do not know how the total workload invested is and how many hours of work they estimate is required. The Launch Module/3333 desaster clearly shows that a progress of 100% could mean 25% in reality.
Every feature boils down to "when it´s done" and "when it´s good". Everything else is just marketing.
And on that note: I think PGI is shooting in their own foot with the "Plan", because they can´t keep up with it and their current results do not match the advertised progress. Sooner or later, this will come of as "lieing on a new channel"

What was the endgame and gameplay for MW4's online multiplayer for that matter?
How about Counter Strike where you spend the totality of the game buying an AK47, an M4 or an AWP over and over again. 75 percent of the primary weapons in those games were second and third tier.
You all seem to be under the collective delusion that we are playing something other than a Multiplayer FPS.
you were saying?
