Hello All.

Why does the cost of upgrades seem to fluctuate? Been looking at doing an Awesome LRM build as bought the chassis when it was on sale a little while back and have been saving some bills to do it up, but every time I look at the price of Artemis its different (usually higher for reason). The first time it was 400k and now its at 730k! What makes it change?

Cheers for any illumination

Ferro and Endo varies with how much they save you based on the mech's maximum tonnage.

Artemis probably fluctuates on a "per missile hardpoint" basis.
One thing you can do is check the price to it without any launchers installed versus having them installed. If it fluctuates, exploit it. Otherwise it's probably based on how many hardpoints there are.

DHS and SHS is the same universal price across all mechs.

Endo cost varies because you are replacing the skeleton of the mech - and the cost for that changes with the weight of the mech (IE how much materials are needed)

As for Artemis.... I do not remember precisely why (Might have to do with the # of launchers mounted though)

Cheers.
Done a few tests, and if you strip the mech, and then save it and go back in, the cost of Artemis drops to 250k, which is nice...
This week I have been mostly blowing things up from a long way away.

Endo is always 10,000 x Mech tonnage.

FF is per ton of armor (so, armor on mech/armor per ton of FF * FF Cost per ton + some small fee)

DHS is always 1,500,000

Artemis is 250,000 + Cost of ammo conversion + Cost of new launchers (which get stripped and you have to buy separate. It's converting your ammo to artemis ammo that's the issue.
