But I just notice the SSRM4 is firing from 2 tube on the hero/prime variant.

If you look carefully they all have the 4 tubes, just partially hidden behind a bordering ridge. Not that it really matters, PGI stated in a post somewhere that all clan streaks will fire out in volleys of 2 anyway.

This might replace the Jenner as my favorite mech. Can't wait for June 17th!

You are right, the missile box's hood is hiding 2 tube from view.
Yeah, I recall reading about the cSSRM firing in pair but Im interested in sticking a cSRM4(brawler) or cLRM10(support) there, depending how fast that thing can go.

97kph from Sarna, but hoping the dev will tweak Clan engine to go faster 30%~50% than TT for MWO.

No need... the 97 kph will do it fine. I have run various chassis and builds that are not speedy lights. Different tactics required for a different style mech.

Remember, these specific clan lights are not 'lights,' but 'light mediums.' Play them like that. :)

I spend more time in a 12x ML Nova in past mechwarrior PC game than in a clan light.
My option of how Clan mech operate can be sum up with, Bull Rush.

Good job on the Kit Fox

The only [gripe?] I have is that I don't think the offset joint on the left arm translates well in a modern interpretation of a battlemech

Howso? Not judging, I am legitimately curious as to your reasoning. Especially since this is an aesthetics issue so it is totally subjective. Is there a particular reason you think the offset joint on the arm is bad?

Mine would be the lack of the antenna from mech4 that gave it the nickname "The Bug" in my house.

That is a gripe I can live with though. ;)

With it being offset, it looks as if it would be a structural weakness as that joint would have unnecessary tension/stress due to the leverage the lower arm has over the upper, rather than it being evenly distributed on a more humanoid arm.
I'm not saying it looks bad - Only that it looks less durable.

Either way, after solving the armor issue, you still end up with about 14.5 tons of pod space on the Kit Fox. That is just enough for a UAC20, 2 tons of ammo, and a pair of ERSLas which, if you remember, are basically medium lasers.

clan UAC20 = 12 tons
2 tons ammo = 2 tons
2 ERSL = 1 ton

total = 15 tons. your half a ton over.

You can easily shave half a ton off of max armor to fit it. 14.5 is based on MAX armor. Once it is maxed, you can bring it back down.

They waited until friday to drop the Kit Fox. Lessee how long they wait this time. All the photo albums for the Clan mechs on Google Plus have been dated as Two Weeks Old, so odds are it is already uploaded, just not visible.

Im willing to bet they are drawing it out as long as possible to not have to release anything important. But I said that before.

So, news on the Kit Fox from the "Ask Russ" reddit post: the C variant (which can mount ECM) is not listed as an available variant, but the S (which has jump jets) is.

Still a chance, however. Remember, they said some chassis won't be built as a total variant, but omni-pods belonging to those variants might be sold separately.

Can you imagine a C's arm on an S's body? Do want!

Kit Fox C arm, by default it has 1 Small Pulse, 1 Tag, ECM, and 3 AMS. Talk about being really supportive.
I'd probably put in a medium laser on the that arm, then use it on the S config and use an ER PPC + SRMs on the left arm.

Here's hoping to get the C arm. :P

Cockpit view looks to be the worst I have seen, so tiny. I swear these had bigger side-to-side cockpit glass kinda like the Awesome.
