Its going to be bigger than adder

I think the adder was usually shorter, little more hunched over than the kit for, which stood more proud.

Looks good, good translation from the concept art to 3D.

Arms appear depressingly easy to shoot off, and going less than 100kph... hope it has over the top torso twist and accel/decel.

They have the same legs. Comparing the upper torsos to the size of the legs, the Adder is noticeably larger than the Kit Fox. At least to my eyes. >_>

Looking at the Kit Fox on Sarna, it's always looked ugly. MWO's version is the best version of the mech I've ever seen. Once again wonderful work. The more I look at the mech, the more I love it's design and want to play it.

Though I don't see myself piloting a Kit Fox, not a huge fan of ballistics on small mechs. Yes, all the ballistics have a purpose, I just find them boring unless I'm doing Gauss or AC/20. Asymmetry bothers me, but at least Kit Fox pulls it off well. Not a problem with the mech, it's just personal preference.

Now, I never expected the Kit Fox to not be able to torso twist in MWO, so I'm just hoping it has some crappy torso twisting abilities to reference it's old design. If not, no complaints here.

In MW2 they were the most deadly of the 3 Lights when they attacked (other 2 real lights being Jenner IIC and Firemoth). Let's see if they still pack a punch in MWO where things are much different.

FYI: An ultra AC 20 (or an LB20X with one ton cluster and one ton shot ammo) and 2 ERSLas fits in a Kit Fox with maxed out armor.

FYI 2.0: If the ECM Variant is released, you can fit an ERPPC, ERMLas, and SSRM6 with the ECM by using Prime arms on the Charlie core, with maxed armor.

Just throwing that out there.

Based on what little we know anyways - should be interesting. :)

No kidding. Can you imagine? You can turn it into a 30 ton Yen-Lo-Wang! Or, if the C-ERPPC hits for 15 (ohyespleaseweneedit), a more tactically flexible double PPC ECM Cicada. :)

Boom-Fox so good!

If I remember right - the specific slots for Endo/Ferro are going to be locked - giving us a pseudo size limited hardpoints.

While a CERPPC is only 2 slots - they may still manage to make it so you cannot mount it. :(
Edit: let alone the heavier ballistics.

If they made it 3 slots you wouldn't be able to. But wile they stated that you can't move to locations of crit slots taken by endo and FF, they did say that they would move freely in the location that they occupy.

True - and I highly highly doubt it will not be able to mount a PPC (or CERPPC as the case may be)

However -that could severely limit bulkier weapons such as the ballistics.

If it makes you feel any better (or worse?) I have been prototyping the Clan builds with a tabletop editor, but following the MWO omnimech rules to the T. As I had no idea how to handle the ferro and endo crits, I just left them where they were in the components and built around them.

Believe me, you can fit an ultra/lbx20 or gauss in the arm of a Fox. At least, you should be able to. Especially since it kicks out the arm actuator when you install it. Let alone an ERPPC.

Is the S config available in the current timeline?

If you can put together a mix of ECM and JJs, this could be a pretty mean little *******, even if it's so slow.

Looks okay, but it shouldn't have torso twist. Ruins the original aesthetic as well as the unique gameplay characteristics of this chassis. The same thing will inevitably occur with the Nova.

Should be able to, and I am hoping, but I am trying not to get so eager on the thought that I get upset if it turns out that we cannot. :)

So about the same height - Kitfox is pretty square though - Puma is (if I remember right) longer than it is tall.
