I have been personal messaging people on the forums for some time now, and all of my messaged have gone unread. I personally feel this is because the message ICON does not clearly notify people that they have messages pending. the message notification system needs to be redesigned or highlighted more. Lack of proper notification or prominence is prohibiting person to person contact.

Maybe even an in-game notification can be given that new messages are waiting to be read on the forums.
