Best thing about this is that they have both the Union Flag and St. George's Cross

I'm suprised it took this long for a Hero Treb, but I don't have that much experience with them to know whether it's a worthy addition

wow dude that must have been an awesome feeling wish some one would buy me the masakari package been staring at it longingly trying to justify $240 any one ? i'll be ya best buddy :)

Truth be told, and I was quite content to do this myself, there isn't much to gain from the actual packages over the 'grinding' option.

The only two genuine benefits to getting the clan packages is 1) time saved [you have it sooner] which gives you the time to 'feel awesome' for a little while before the field is flooded with them. And 2) the package 'Prime' mechs are 'sleeker'.

An example using my favorite, note it's present throughout the mech but most noteworthy on the legs.
Package prime:

Regular prime:

(This is the Dire Wolf / Daishi).
I personally like both looks in the concept art, though the Warhawk's arm LRM rack kind of worries me.

They're all going to be available eventually. I even suspect (PGI help me out here and make it true) that there will also be 'Clan Trial' mechs to help fill out Clan forces as they become available for cbills.

Of course, I'll be happy to bring you along for matches if you like.

While I appreciate where you are coming from: Extending the time of public tests only increases the total number of players overall, and actually decreases the number of concurrent players at a given time. It's the latter number that matters more when conducting a test where server load is needed to replicate the bugs.

Perhaps, if you are going to be "load testing" on live servers, you could turn off the consumption of Premium time during that load testing. Seems like quite a few Premium users spent most of that time post-patch in queue rather than in game today.

Waiting time around 10min for a game. 7 Drops done. All had been stomps. 6 against us. 1 for us. Sometimes 10 Assault vs 10 Lights.....after 15min of searching?

I never got stuck in the map before. Now..I got stuck. Client crashes are normal. I had to restart 4 times.

Where is the new Champion mech? Can t find him.

Additional....

After using an Airstrike...shooting of all my Ammo....I endet up with 50dmg in one game?

What is going on? My ping went up from 136 to 180+.

WTF.

Now after 20min waiting for a game..we got stomped in 2min. 2 Discos on our side. Enemy Team just F. jump poptarts 70t+....Our Team mainly mediums.

Sorry.. Fix that ****.

Repost due to button mashing error: Alright everyone. Matchmaking numbers continued to spike with Rule of Three's. So we are adjusting this Class Limit to a maximum of 4s. This means any of the following variations of weight classing will be possible:

3/3/3/3
4/3/3/2
4/4/3/1
4/4/2/2
4/4/4/0
etc..

We are going to see how this works out, there remains a strong possibility we will have to further increase this maximum or altogether shut off the class limits and revert back to group limits in the interim, so please stay tuned here. We are playing by ear on this one as we build the data. Thanks again for standing by.

How ironic. I suggested this FRIGGIN' MONTHS AGO when I said 3s wouldn't work.

You should ask George (the voice actor aka Duncan Fisher) first. He seems to be very happy to do any projects, but as it's his voice it's only proper to ask first.

But that covered, then we can make one together.

Someone I helped during his start into MWO last year said that he saw a post where I said I wouldn't be able to get the Clan mechs.
It was mentioned that it would be a shame if I would not be able to provide help for players using Clan mechs, and when I accepted I was under the impression of "one Clan mech."

He was so overly generous in his 'thank you' for what he called being "a pillar helping to build the community" that when I read "It is done," I checked to see what mech either via package or Al La Carte I'd be getting.

...and then promptly spit coffee all over my TV monitor and was quick to both express gratitude and ask if perhaps there was a mistake.
Spoiler

Lets just say I won't have much trouble getting Lordred to do screenshots of the Clan mechs, nor will I have issues helping out in such a video (as I was planning to do it myself anyway).
--------

This community, both in its newer members and long standing Battletech fans, is amazing and there is great potential in it. Sometimes I wish PGI and IGP could take a step back and realize it, then develop the game with us in mind.

That's awesome dude. I'd love the package, but just can't justify the price myself, particularly because I need a new PC as well, and money spent there would be better spent on a new PC. Glad you'll be able to help folks out with clan mechanics. That's really my biggest regret is I'll have no experience to do so myself.

Lau, you're suggestion didn't work either, although that's all down to who it is doing the implementation. I expect the re-implementation on the backside will have issues as well, for the same reason.

Only managed to drop a few times but all matches were enjoyable with weight balancing working well (wasn't 3/3/3/3 but reasonably close).
But the waiting times are way too long for most matches. Had two where i managed to find one in under a minute (which i consider good) and a couple with about 2-5 min (bearable). But my Blackjack is searching for over 30 min now (restarted search twice) even with Mediums at only 14-21% in queue. MIght be that the matchmaker needs some time to adjust like it was after most bigger changes but currently it is almost unplayable for me. :)

Here is an idea for MM its super easy maybe you can follow it.

Take 24 people in que, split each weigh class as evenly as possible. If there are uneven numbers oh well. Drop them in a match. wewt. OMG THAT IS SO HARD!!!!!!!!!.

Also:

People are driving lights now who clearly don't do so normally, so 1/2 the lights being played are basically free kills lmao

Watching the game search for a match for 10 minutes is pretty awesome. :)

Do you guys even test this stuff before you put it out? I am embarassed on your behalf. Seriously, how can you guys be this bad at game making? Are you not a video game company?

I love Battletech. I am a prostitute* for it. I will spend large percentages of my considerable discretionary income on it. But this is so bad that it makes me want to not play MWO ever again. You guys just cannot seem to build something that works. Why is that?

*Had to edit since the word I used for prostitute w**** was ******ed.

PC comes first. :P No point in having shinies if you can't truly enjoy them.

I was honestly quite content with the idea of going the cbills route (as I'm getting by on daily online applications to places with walk-in follow-ups and stripping scrap that I find in the trash by the road in various neighborhoods at the moment -- matter of fact I literally got a call and 5 bucks to get someone's cat out of a tree).

Honestly it'll be like the difference between the Phoenix mechs and the standard variants of them; I'm sure in some cases I'll prefer the standard variants better. I know for every Founder's mech I have the Founder version and the Standard version. I'm doing the same with the Phoenix mechs I liked, too.

But for something awesome, if you haven't seen this check it out. O Fortuna + Kerensky. ^_^

Yet I am still waiting 15-30 mins between drops....Don't get me wrong you guys have done great on this game, in many ways, but when I have more time to surf the blogs and make comments like this while I wait for drops is telling of how bad the problem is.

Oh got a drop got to go and play for a few mins.
