I agree with you on the "looks" part, that's for sure. The IV-Four camo is terrible. It should have had a "Western" flair with a pair of six guns on it's side and a silver "Sheriffs" star on his left breast.

I totally agree, they missed a great opportunity by not giving the hero Quickdraw a western theme.

The IV-Four camo really makes me think that the camo designer says the name as "Eye Vee Four". It would explain the intravenous appearance, at least...

I agree with that - but I think I see why they went with the look they did - an IV-esque if you will.

Having said that though - I had been hoping for something western-esque myself.

Though, the referenced "gun that won the West" was actually a rifle: the Winchester Model 1873, chambered for the .44 Winchester Cartridge. :D
However, there was also a later pistol that shared the same cartridge: the 1877 Colt Frontier Six-Shooter.

It would have looked pretty sweet with a rifle painted across the back and pistols painted onto the hips, though...

The Buccaneer camo for the Quickdraw has pistols on the hips.

The Buccaneer camo would also be quite fitting, given Ivy Upsalom's status as a pirate...

Yeah, I put that camo pattern on my 5K. It looks sweet.

I just wish they would have put a western themed camo on the IV-FOUR. It would have been so fitting instead of that stupid looking "IV" ( as in intravenous) pattern.

PGI, give us a choice of camo for the IV-FOUR!!

I second this for ALL hero mechs! I would love to be able to un-Satanize my Firebrand and go back to using it again...

Well, I still think that the Loup De Guerre is a much more effective mech than the IV-FOUR, even now that I have mastered my LG and have many games under my belt (most of which I have gotten 2 or more kills in). Plus, the LG has a great paint job which is very appropriate for the mech.
