Since we have no real poll system, if everyone could leave a comment with a simple yes or no and possibly a short explanation why.
I'm curious as to what the community think's at this point as a whole.

Direction remains to be seen, as the current direction is "towards CW" but what that will actually be like is anyone's guess. On the whole I approve of "towards CW" except that it should already have been here and be awesome. So we'll see.
Development, not really. I appreciate that a lot of people like the new private matches but for me personally PGI hasn't added anything to the game since the first day of Open Beta. I still see the potential, mainly in the coolness of the base mechanics, but dev speed, communication and performance has all been pretty awful. They're getting better (sort of, at least Niko posts a lot), but again, too slowly.

I like the game, but stuff is being added too slow.

Wait, they got rid of polling on these forums? LAWL.
In brief, I'm happy that they got the launch module in and it has made myself and many clan mates itch to to come back (partially) and there are constant musings about coming back and competing but the game's overall balance (and balance direction) are keeping us at bay. For us, things like ghost heat, jump jet shake and gauss delay are deeply unpopular and are a constant reminder that balance progress could regress any minute and just put us back into a state of immense frustration with the game and its developers.

direction seems to be good. the implementation of the game has something to be desired. There are many people that love the MechWarrior Universe. Please do them honor by keeping the game the way its meant to be played.
There are several fixes that need to be made to gameplay and matchmaking. Please address these as soon as possible and make this game enjoyable for all. I pay money to play this game. Please make it worth my time and money.

The community means (almost) nothing.
They (we) represent a spec of the general population that plays this game, so even if we all said weren't agreeing with the direction of this game, there is always the previously used statement that says the "silent majority" is happy and are paying / showing by metrics that PGI is in the right track...
