PGI is not going to tell us everything that goes into patches as some of the updates in patches are for future features. Does everyone remember the UI 2.0 patch? The UI 2.0 patch was much smaller then the previous patch. Most of the UI was probably in the previous patch. The patch notes give us active features, the patch itself could contain all kinds of things... including Clan tech effects that got mixed with current IS effects.

PGI keep us informed so we can at least focus on direct issues to complain about as some out there wont just complain some will try to replicate and send feed back.

Now lets all take a deep breath stop complaining, save our energy for the hotfix and all its real and imagined screw-ups.

If you think the only bugs in the game are missiles you are sadly mistaken. The game is totally screwed up right now. The damage taken is as if you don't have any armor and the damage done is as if you are shooting spitwads. The gameplay is totally out of balance. Shooting guys in the back they take no damage, e.g. - Stalker at 84%, 2 ERLL's and 2 AC-5's to the back, still 84%, again, still 84%, again, again... 84%. It is very NOT fun to play when the damage registration is that screwed up, and even worse when you die by headshot or shouldering in ONE shot, which happens to be the FIRST shot fired 2 minutes into the game. I have half a mind to quit playing for a week or a month until PGI fixes this mess.

Well, it could be true from his perspective... If he is having a hit registration issue that is affecting him but not the guy shooting at him.

To be honest, Paul didn't say there wasn't a problem. He said they didn't make any [intentional] changes to missiles.

I haven't logged in since the few battles yesterday where I was massively underperforming thanks to hit detection , Dark times for missile boats, dark times . / end melodramatics , I wont be logging back in either till I know its fixed.

This happened the other day when I was pugging (DONTOR could speak for me, I ran into him that drop). All I hear is, "I got killed by it therefore it must be OP." SRMs are ****, they've been **** for 14 months now, and I'd love to see the scenario you described as an alternative to teams camping and slowly trying to poptart each other to death.
