Hi, i routinely run the Repair Tool every patch/hotfix and the current hotfix makes the Repair Tool crash at the end of its work when its comparing hashes.

Crashes on Hashes.....true poetry

It crashes after it gets to bin32\cryrenderd3d11.dll

Game has also been crashing in the middle of play every few drops. Nothing in system event log, just CTD.

Gave up and reinstalled. At least it doesn't crash now.

I have to laugh, I found the same thing with the repair tool. I re-installed just to be safe and now I cant change resolution from 1280x720p :/

Plus the game feel really jumpy for some reason, Ping is fine at its usuall 100 but frames are bouncing ;)

One of these days we'll get a working client!

Everything Wargruf said but the fixed screen resolution for me. Also my mouse went from working smooth to being just about un usable for my lights in battle now. Tried adjusting mouse functions to no avail.

have had a problem with the main program and patching for a while so Ive been running the repair tool to pach the game which worked fine. The hotfix this week however is causing that to crash in the comparing hashes stage, as with the others here

The repair tool has been fixed. It wasn't the hotfix, exactly, but a change in the patch process when we made the hotfix that caused the problem. I have resolved the issue and the repair tool should work just fine.

Great. Do you have an updated patch tool to cover the PTS server now (making it official)?

I do have a new iteration of the repair tool almost ready for release. I need to do one round of testing first.

Sounds good. Haven't seen you in a while since I had been looking for you the last two PTS sessions.

Had almost thought you left us. ;)

Not at all, just doing more internal Piranha work, less exposure. Anyway, I do have that new iteration of the repair tool available, although I'd still like to do a bit more testing, so I'm not going to replace the old one quite yet. If you'd like to try it out in the meantime I have put it up in a temporary location on the CDN:
http://patcher.mwome...ORepairTool.exe

Nothing really significant in the way it works, just a bit of a facelift to accommodate Public Test and whatnot. Lemme know what you think.

It looks good. It seems fine running through both PTS+production testing.

Does it distinguish files generated by UI 2.0? The new libs folder is created now when you visit the store and/or login.... I believe it does catch files from there, but I wonder if it's being distinguished like the old ad system in UI 1.5...

Also, the tool "skips" mentioning of files that are missing (or intentionally deleted) and that only gets a mention towards the end of the scan. Would it not make sense to inform the user that said files are missing while the scan is being performed? I don't think it's necessarily important, but it "feels incomplete" in a way.

You can try mailing support, this is not it.

It also sounds like there might be some sort of networking issue, wich again, support might help you figure out.

It sounds like you may have more serious problems.

Try running some sort of Memory Test and see if that's an issue.
