Which do you think will give you the best tactical advantage?

Joystick (well, flight control system) would probably give a more immersive experience ... but keyboard/mouse is more responsive and accurate (imo).

I would think keyboard/mouse for sniper/missle mech, and joystick for brawling.

I've had a Logitech Wingman Extream 3D for about 12/13 years and couldn't THINK of playing without it. Like it better than the Force Feedback Sidewinder I had before it. (but still pine for my Microsoft Flight Stick Pro)

Gotta have programmable buttons either way. In the middle of a firefight is NOT the time to be hunting and pecking for the , "Center Torso", "Nearest Enemy", or "Request Help From Teammates" button.

Mouse and Keyboard for responsiveness and accuracy. I grew up on sims with a joystick, but hands down I will play M&K. My Razor Mouse is ready to rock and roll with 17 buttons at my disposal.

Can't see paying whatever the Artemis is gonna cost (likely in the $200-$300 range) for a free to play game. But that's just me.

I've tried playing MW4 and others with keyboard and mouse.... but Joystick always seems to work better.

After all when you're shooting at mechs... they tend to be big... getting your crosshairs onto them isn't as hard as you'd think.

My Logitech Cordless Freedom 2.4 did me well in MW4... and it's raring for a shot at MWO.

Dropped $120 for a founders package. May as well go all out on the Artemis as well. :(

I prefer the realism of a flight stick/throttle myself [does anyone sell JUST foot pedals?] I have a saitek X52 on standby.

The artemis concept is . . not the design I would have chosen, opting for a throttle instead of a gamepad. If the center screen is a touchpad and completely replaces all keyboard functionality I will consider it, but if I have to find room on the desk for the artemis + my black widow ultimate + my razer naga + my eyefinity setup, speakers, amp. . . . .

I don't think they make a desk that big >.>

I dont know tough for me to say . I like the joystick with the programable buttons on it and the turning with a flic of the wrist. On the other hand a mouse/keyboard more accurate and has more options for programing.

Always did a flight stick with throttle control in previous MW games... I was always a big fan of the thrustmaster, the joystick swivle was great for torso rotation and performing circles of death. I normally reserved the hat for weapon group selection.

I wonder if they still make thrustmasters... I think I finally have a reason to invest in a new one.

IMO flight yoke/mouse/keybord

flight yoke to controll legs, and you also mave MANY keys to program to coolent flush, zoom in/out,targeting or whatever you want.
.
mouse to controll torso.I normaly only set up 3 weapon groups (it changes with what mech im useing to be honest but normaly no more than 3) so mouse key 1(left) - 2 (middle mouse wheel) -3(right)

keybord.....well chatting for one..and any overflow of keys you want to program but ran out on the flight yoke. My yoke has 12 keys a hat to look around with and a rolling throttel what more can you ask for lol.....well more keys but...

I've got Saitek X52 (HOTAS setup)

I really hope this setup works with the game!

Now a flight yoke I would like to see, you must look like a one man band while using all that! what model yoke?

Well sure its easy to hit a large mech but hitting it in basically the same spot not so much. Mouse is much more accurate than a joystick for targeting. If you don't want to search for buttons in the middle of a fight then get a Razer Naga.

I just recently bought a joystick and have been using it on MWLL. So far, I find its more fun but less accurate than the mouse control. However I find that it is better for getting stable shots, so holding your damage on a target while moving is easier, but aiming quickly is harder. It comes down to which you prefer.

For me, in Heavy/Assault Ill use Joystick
For Light/Medium Ill stick to mouse.
