Inner Sphere: 3048

What are you piloting?

Who are you piloting for?

Go!

(If you need more info on the setting from some of the game vets, regarding what would be available and to what houses, according to canon, I'm sure most of us will be willing to help out, so just ask).

P.S. This is all hypothetical of course, since we won't know what our actual choices will be for a while presumably, so for the sake of the idea, base your choices off of the premise that anything canon to the setting is fair game :) ...

(edited to flesh out the rules :D )

I'll go first.

MAD-3D Marauder (though I'd love a 5D if they end up being an option).

The Federated Suns/House Davion.

(edited to reflect better designation accuracy)

Can't say what I'll pilot yet, but it will probably be for House Steiner.

Sweet, a Zeus or an Awesome perhaps? Always loved those for Steiner. And granted, this is all hypothetical anyway, since we don't know what mechs will be available exactly.

I'm upset that this takes place before the Clan invasion... I am more upset that someone already took the handle that I used when I played MechCommander.... There will be consequences for this gentleman when I see him on the field of battle...

Not only that, but we don't know how modifiable the mechs will be. For example, I always thought that three PPCs on the Awsome was a design flaw; the chances of me piloting one would depend largely on being able to modify it.

Another thing to consider is how tactical the game is going to be, and how they'll make use of all the weight classes. I expect we will end up with a stable of mechs of different types, depending on what role we want to play at the time.

Piloting a : Wolfhound (primary), Valkyrie, Thunderbolt, Warhammer, Highlander, or Atlas. Need a mech to fit the situation. Not sure if all of these are available to Davion, or if we'll be allowed to swap mechs roles easily.

Piloting for: House Davion

I am Star Colonel Taylim Tseng of Clan Ghost Bear's 304th Assault Cluster. I pilot a Executioner with 2 ER PPCs and a Gauss Rifle.

As a 'Merc' of the Night Howler's Merc Unit you can find me in either a Centurion for lighter duty or a Shootist when it is time to rock!

A plain ordinary humble merc... with strangely pristine Star League tech Guillotine which has hastily applied camo scheme over its formerly all white paint-job...

Once we get access to clan tech and being able to actually play as a Clanner, can't wait to play for the Ghost Bears with a Kodiak, Mist Lynx, Modded Wolfhound, Arctic Fox, or an Ursus.
