Kidding! Just kidding!

But WOW do they work now. Lately, I've been flitting around in my Lights and, when I'd see an SRM boat, while dangerous, wasn't as scary as other builds. No longer: one good alpha from an SRM6, and half your mech is gone.

Sincerely: good work, PGI - nice to see that SRMs are again viable weapons. But seriously: ouch.

I still have the 65% hitreg. 600 SRMs doesn't last a match, but 200 will kill something.

What? I just saw a firestarter overheat infront of me and survive 24 SRMs to the torso at near pointblank range.

That's only 48 damage. Spread across the 3 small torso hitboxes. And maybe the arms and legs too.

That's not going to do much.

Huh - still hit or miss, then? Because I dropped three games and in all three, the SRM-brawlers were cleaning house on the enemy.

I miss a single SRM 6 making a Commando explode at point blank. That was results!

Bring it back. :)

I guess there were no meta-Victors on the other team... :D

They aren't useless, but they aren't necessarily reliable either.

Most of the lights seem to take almost no damage from SRMs. Jenners being the exception.

Working recently better than they have for a long long long time. Pretty well balanced to not OP and not to weak. I really hope they do not nerf them.

A meta-victor is easier to beat than an atlas, for a fast brawler. They maneuver just as slowly but don't have as much armor

I've had good success with them, but you have to aim in the right spots. Aiming SRMs at the CT works for Jenners, and somewhat for Cicadas, but don't even try with the rest of the lights. Go for the legs and you'll have much better results.

If they get within 90Ms. PPCs and ACs are better brawling weapons than SRMS, because you can aim them.

Of course, I'll take a laser boat over PPCs and SRMs, but those have their own issues.

I tend to see shots sail between their legs or through the torsos, even on Ravens.

Since when? Can I have the magical experience you seem to be having? How much do I have to pay for a boat ticket off this island?

Well, when you are aiming at skinny legs, some of the missiles will sail past. I try to aim for the upper leg/hip area, because that if that is thicker, it will catch more missiles. Plus, if you miss the upper leg section, the missiles may hit the side torso instead of just sailing right by.

Hit Detection is still MEH - legged Jenner red CT red leg - survives, Stalker - does not even get any hit, orange orange Catapult stays orange, red LT SHD - no hit....i love Missiles....not - but i would like to use them in a reliable and fun gameplay way!
