Cant figure this mess out at all - it says I've opted in but I cant find myself anywhere on the board - I see the top 10s only ? wtf ?

What is the friggin point of doing these things without at least trying to link the competition start and end times to the individuals PARTICULAR time zone..? Surely PGI can tell if a player has played 10 matches within their time bracket ?

Totally pissed off here - played most of the weekend thinking I was helping my faction and gaining the hula girl " O7 " and practically ignoring my family.

Not happy at all.

i like the tourny but its bias,,these guys come in with the big ships with 60 + alpha and fire 10 or 15 shots maybe at close range, the whole game and call it a day.,mean while back at the ranch all of us in lites have to fire 100 times as much to get half of that,so whos the better shooters? and with half of the armour..

They should ban LRM's from tournaments.

The leader board guys would all be in last place.

I used to love these tournaments.

Now it's just LRM's and LRM's DO NOT A "WARRIOR" MAKE.

Interestingly, none or very few of those who run LRM's ever made it to the top 50. If you ever check the battle result, you will realize that no LRM ever did high damage. Just because you got killed by LRM's, don't blame it. A missile boat can help you getting more assist but not kills. Even if it is banned, you unfortunately still will not get to the top for failure to learn.

The #1 leaderboard leaders usually aren't running LRMs.

Really, it's mostly a Victor that's running around.

LRMs would be the only thing you will ever see. Noe one will use any other weapon, since they wrack up high damage numbers (on average it takes about 300+ damage to kill an assault mech)

Well I have to admit that I'm not much of a light pilot. I've had a game with my ddc with 830 dmg 3 kills 7 assist and then realized that you will have hard times getting high assists with Brawlers. Where as snipers you can take snapshots just to get that assist. So basically, I left out the CTF-IM, CPT-J, DDC, CTF-A1, HGN733 (lrm boat) Also Liao:

were playing Lurm Boats. Generally I feel that LRMs are good where they are. It's much harder to average your damage on 600-700 with Direct fire then with LRMs.Tipping the mouse over a oversized reticule isn't exactly hard and accurate aiming should definitely be rewarded more than that.

Me too. 9th of Mariks currently and 18th in previous tournament. LRM-boats only.

LRMS? Who is even using LRMS? While the tornament has been running I've been seeing AC5/PPC victors everywhere, loads of ECM etc (ie. exactly what one expects ). Still a few non-meta players around, but the number has drastically reduced. Lots of arty too. I don't blame people for using the meta to help win a tournament . No matter, things will return to normal soon after tournament ends. Hopefully with lone wolves winning, so I get a prize!

would it be possible to get the number of players who entered for each faction.

I know I am not in the top 10 ... hell not even the top 50 ... but It would be nice to know i was 66th out of XXX number of Marik Players
