Yeah, my foremost piece of advice for MWO is and will always be "Ask questions!". There's so much to take in and different people are going to have different kinds of issues, but we've got a pretty god help desk crew here and there's not much we can't solve if we out our heads together

Makes me wonder if Kon and Shar have earned the exclusive "Community Contributor" banner item yet or not for their hard work and helpful advice.

There's lots of stuff for what they were, but none of them specify Merc uniforms for Mechwarriors. Some outfits look like they're from the X-men. Some would blend in perfectly with Star Citizen's environment. And then there's the cool ones.
Gray Death Legion, a canon merc unit. Supposedly executing the pilot inside of a battlemech.


The "famous" merc unit that PGI went out of the way to promote at the Launch Party looks like these.

Heavy Metal pilot Rhonda Snord (pictured here near current timeline)

became the commander of Snord's Irregulars in 3037
which she inherited from her father, Cranstan.

They spent time working for just about everyone, but the sun (in that form) suggests some affiliation with the Draconis Combine or at least something Japanese. The shirt, "Elvis is King" explains her choice in rock which does kinda sound Elvis-era.

But basically it looks like mercs wear whatever their leaders want.
